M12 threaded insert for foot/castor GF-N
It is inserted into the bottom of the upright and gives you an M12 thread for feet and castors. The standard version takes 1250 N in compression; the conductive ESD version is used in EPA areas and takes 500 N.
Why choose it
M12 feet and castors
The most widely used thread for benches, shelving and trolleys.
ESD version
Conductive polypropylene for structures in EPA areas.
Levelling
With an adjustable foot you level the structure.

Application example
The M12 thread at the bottom of the uprights.
- Benches and shelving: levelling feet
- Light trolleys: castors with centre hole
- EPA areas: conductive version
Data and compatibility

| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Series | GF-N Ø 28 |
| Compatible with | GF-N Ø 28 pipe; M12 feet and castors |
| Material | Polyamide (standard); conductive polypropylene (ESD) |
| Weight | 24 g (standard) · 21 g (ESD) |
| Load | 1250 N in compression (ESD: 500 N); 120 N pull-out; torque 5 N·m |
| Versions | GFN-E02 standard; GFN-E17 ESD |
With conductive feet and castors use the ESD version; if the structure is moved often or takes knocks, plate-mounted castors on the profile with C10 slot are better.
Not sure which foot or castor to fit?
Tell us the load, the floor and the frame profile: we will recommend the right castors, feet and threaded inserts.

In structures for EPA areas with conductive feet or castors: the GFN-E17 insert maintains continuity to the floor. It carries less than the standard one: 500 N instead of 1250 N.
Yes: for example the Ø 100 castor with centre hole, fixed with an M12 screw. Remember that the limit of the assembly is the insert, 1250 N. With frequent moves or knocks choose plate-mounted castors on the profile with C10 slot.
The GFN-E31 insert, dedicated to the Hard profile: it takes up to 3000 N with a levelling foot.
Yes. Green Frame profiles can be ordered as 4000 mm bars or cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Give us the dimensions of the pieces or send us a sketch of the structure and we will prepare the cutting list.
Yes. The standard series is GF-N (Ø 28 mm pipe); GF-S (Ø 19 mm) is lighter and more compact, GF-G (Ø 43 mm) is for stiffer structures. There are mixed connectors that join pipes from different series, for example a Ø 19 or Ø 43 pipe to a Ø 28 pipe, so you use the right diameter at every point of the structure.
No. The connectors are fixed to the pipe with hex socket screws: a hex key is all you need. Loosen the screw, insert the pipe, bring it into position and tighten. No welding, drilling or painting.
Yes, it is the strength of the pipe system: loosen the connectors, move or replace the pipes and retighten. You can raise a shelf, extend a workbench or reuse the components in another structure when the process changes, with continuous improvement in mind.
Yes. We can design the structure (workstation, flow rack, trolley, line-side supermarket) with the load calculation and deliver it to you assembled or as a kit with the parts already cut and the list of components.
No. Profiles and connectors are in anodised aluminium: the surface resists corrosion and wear without painting and is easy to clean.
Yes. The range includes conductive components such as ESD inner end caps, ESD clips for electrical continuity between pipe and connector, and ESD inserts for levelling feet and castors. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will tell you the components to use.
