Green Frame · GF-S Ø 19 profiles
GF-S profile: Ø 19 mm aluminium pipe for light structures
The Ø 19 mm Green Frame pipe: it weighs 0.20 kg/m, little more than half the GF-N, and is used where the structure needs to be light and slim. You use it for light frames, dividers, guard bars, small trolleys and mechanisms, even within a GF-N structure thanks to the mixed connectors.
Why choose it
Ultra-light
0.20 kg/m: structures you move by hand and mechanisms with little moving mass.
Small footprint
The 19 mm diameter leaves more room for parts, hands and tools.
Combines with GF-N
Mixed 90°, parallel and cross connectors join it to Ø 28 and Ø 43 pipes.
Complete range
Inner and outer connectors, 45°, rotating, sliding and braces, all for Ø 19.
Choose it if…
- The structure carries light loads and needs to be slim.
- You are building dividers, guard bars or small frames.
- You want to add light parts to a GF-N structure.
Choose another solution if…
- The structure has to carry shelves or workstation loads: GF-N profile →
- You need a stiffer Ø 19 pipe: GF-S Hard profile →
- You want a slot for accessories on the Ø 19 pipe: GF-S profile with C6 slot →

Application example
GF-S is used where GF-N would be oversized:
- Dividers and bars for guards and gates
- Small frames and supports on GF-N workstations
- Light mechanisms and moving parts
Most used connectors
With the 45° brace you stiffen 90° joints between Ø 19 pipes.
How to combine it
GF-S works well together with the other series:
On GF-N and GF-G structures
With mixed connectors you attach a Ø 19 pipe to a Ø 28 or Ø 43 upright: at 90°, in parallel or crosswise.
Telescopic
The GF-S pipe slides inside the GF-N Hard profile: for adjustable uprights.
Feet
With the dedicated M6 threaded insert you fit feet on the Ø 19 pipe.
For short spans and light loads GF-S is enough; where the structure carries weight, use GF-N.
The LeanProducts service
From drawing to finished structure, with a single point of contact:
Design and load calculation
We start from your sketch or dimensions: we choose profiles and connectors and check spans, joints and loads.
Cut to length
We cut the profiles in our workshop to the lengths in the design, ready to assemble.
Kit or assembled structure
You receive the kit with the cut parts and the list of components, or the structure already assembled.
Spare parts and modifications
When the process changes we supply components and new cuts to modify or extend the structure.
Send us a sketch, a photo or the overall dimensions: we will reply with codes, quantities and cut lengths.

When loads are light and size and weight matter: dividers, guard bars, small frames, supports, mechanisms. For uprights and cross members of workstations and shelving, use GF-N Ø 28.
The moment of inertia is 0.27 × 10⁴ mm⁴ against 1.16 × 10⁴ for GF-N: about a quarter. This is why GF-S suits short spans and light loads.
With the mixed connectors: 90° outer GF-S with GF-N/G, parallel and cross. This way you attach Ø 19 pipes to Ø 28 or Ø 43 uprights without adapters.
Outer and inner 90°, inner 45°, corner, cross, parallel, rotating and sliding connectors, plus the 45° brace to stiffen joints. They are all specific to the Ø 19 pipe.
Yes: GF-S slides inside the GF-N Hard profile. This way you make height-adjustable uprights with two pipes from the system.
With the M6 threaded insert for GF-S in the end of the pipe. If you need an M8 foot screwed in directly, there is the GF-S Hard profile, whose end can be threaded M8.
The GF-S profile is the basic Ø 19 pipe. The one with C6 slot adds a slot for slot nuts, hooks and accessories. The Hard has a thick wall, almost double the moment of inertia and an M8 threadable end for feet. The W joins two pipes into a 44 mm wide profile, more than 10 times stiffer when mounted upright. F35 and F22 have a flat flange for labels, tags and light supports.
The GF-N Ø 28 is the standard for workstations, flow racks and trolleys. The GF-S Ø 19 weighs about half as much (0.20 kg/m versus 0.37) and is for light frames, dividers, guards and small mechanisms. The GF-G Ø 43 is for uprights and cross members that have to carry a lot: over a 1000 mm span it supports 851 N at the centre versus 195 N for the GF-N, for the same deflection. It is often worth mixing them, for example GF-G uprights and GF-N cross members joined by mixed connectors.
Yes. Green Frame profiles can be ordered as 4000 mm bars or cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Give us the dimensions of the pieces or send us a sketch of the structure and we will prepare the cutting list.
Yes. The standard series is GF-N (Ø 28 mm pipe); GF-S (Ø 19 mm) is lighter and more compact, GF-G (Ø 43 mm) is for stiffer structures. There are mixed connectors that join pipes from different series, for example a Ø 19 or Ø 43 pipe to a Ø 28 pipe, so you use the right diameter at every point of the structure.
No. The connectors are fixed to the pipe with hex socket screws: a hex key is all you need. Loosen the screw, insert the pipe, bring it into position and tighten. No welding, drilling or painting.
Yes, it is the strength of the pipe system: loosen the connectors, move or replace the pipes and retighten. You can raise a shelf, extend a workbench or reuse the components in another structure when the process changes, with continuous improvement in mind.
Yes. We can design the structure (workstation, flow rack, trolley, line-side supermarket) with the load calculation and deliver it to you assembled or as a kit with the parts already cut and the list of components.
No. Profiles and connectors are in anodised aluminium: the surface resists corrosion and wear without painting and is easy to clean.
Yes. The range includes conductive components such as ESD inner end caps, ESD clips for electrical continuity between pipe and connector, and ESD inserts for levelling feet and castors. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will tell you the components to use.
