Green Frame · GF-G Ø 43 profiles
GF-G profile: Ø 43 mm aluminium pipe for rigid structures and high loads
The Ø 43 mm Green Frame pipe: over a 1000 mm span it takes 851 N at mid-span with 5 mm of deflection, more than four times the GF-N. You use it for uprights and cross members of large or loaded structures, cantilever arms and legs of heavy workbenches. It combines with GF-N thanks to the mixed connectors.
Why choose it
Four times GF-N
Over a 1000 mm span it takes 851 N at mid-span against 195 N for the Ø 28 pipe, at the same deflection.
Sturdy joints
GF-G connectors are tightened with an M8 screw to 24.9 N·m: the 90° outer connector holds 2500 N against slipping.
Combines with GF-N
With G-N mixed connectors you mount Ø 28 cross members on Ø 43 uprights.
Legs and cantilevers
M16 threaded insert rated 5800 N for feet and castors; with reinforced connectors you support cantilever arms.
Choose it if…
- The structure is large or carries high loads.
- You need sturdy uprights for cantilever arms or tall structures.
- You want sturdier legs under heavy workbenches and workstations.
- You want to combine Ø 43 uprights and Ø 28 cross members.
Choose another solution if…
- The loads are those of a standard workstation or shelving unit: GF-N profile →
- You need a beam for large spans: GF-G P150 high-rigidity profile →
- You need much more stiffness on the cross members: GF-G W profile →

Application example
GF-G is used where the Ø 28 pipe is not enough:
- Uprights of tall structures and line-side supermarkets
- Legs of workbenches and workstations for high loads
- Cantilever arms with reinforced connectors
- Frames of heavy trolleys and large guards
Most used connectors and accessories
All GF-G connectors are tightened with an M8 screw to 24.9 N·m.
When to move to GF-G
The figures compared with GF-N:
Longer cross members
Over 1000 mm it takes 851 N at mid-span with 5 mm of deflection; GF-N 195 N.
Uprights and cantilevers
The GF-G outer connector allows 66 N·m vertically, against 9–11 N·m for GF-N connectors.
Feet
The M16 threaded insert takes 5800 N in compression, against 1250 N for the M12 for GF-N.
A standard Green Frame workbench goes from 100 kg capacity with Ø 28 legs to 130 kg with GF-G legs.
The LeanProducts service
From drawing to finished structure, with a single point of contact:
Design and load calculation
We start from your sketch or dimensions: we choose profiles and connectors and check spans, joints and loads.
Cut to length
We cut the profiles in our workshop to the lengths in the design, ready to assemble.
Kit or assembled structure
You receive the kit with the cut parts and the list of components, or the structure already assembled.
Spare parts and modifications
When the process changes we supply components and new cuts to modify or extend the structure.
Send us a sketch, a photo or the overall dimensions: we will reply with codes, quantities and cut lengths.

When the structure is large, tall or loaded: over a 1000 mm span GF-G takes 851 N at mid-span against 195 N for GF-N, at the same deflection. Connectors and feet are also sturdier. Often it is enough to use it for the uprights and keep the cross members in Ø 28.
With G-N mixed connectors, outer or inner 90°: they join a Ø 43 pipe to a Ø 28 pipe. This way you put GF-G uprights and GF-N cross members in the same structure.
Outer and inner 90°, corner, 45°, hinged, linear and two reinforced outer connectors for joints with high moments. They are tightened with an M8 screw to 24.9 N·m; the 90° outer holds 2500 N against slipping, the inner 1700 N.
Yes, it is one of the typical uses. The normal outer connector allows 66 N·m vertically; with GF-G uprights and reinforced outer connectors an arm takes about 800 N at 300 mm from the upright. Horizontally the values are lower: the uprights must be tied together.
With the M16 threaded insert GFN-E05 you fit levelling feet and M16 stem castors: it takes 5800 N in compression. The conductive version for ESD areas takes 1000 N.
0.74 kg/m, twice GF-N (0.37 kg/m), with a moment of inertia more than four times greater: 5.07 against 1.16 × 10⁴ mm⁴.
The GF-G profile is the basic Ø 43 pipe. The one with C10 slot adds a slot for T-nuts and the connection to SF square profiles. The Hard has a thick wall, about twice the bending resistance, for joints that take impacts. The GF-G W joins two Ø 43 pipes and is the cross member for high loads; the P150 is a 193 mm high twin beam for large spans, work enclosures and gantries.
The GF-N Ø 28 is the standard for workstations, flow racks and trolleys. The GF-S Ø 19 weighs about half as much (0.20 kg/m versus 0.37) and is for light frames, dividers, guards and small mechanisms. The GF-G Ø 43 is for uprights and cross members that have to carry a lot: over a 1000 mm span it supports 851 N at the centre versus 195 N for the GF-N, for the same deflection. It is often worth mixing them, for example GF-G uprights and GF-N cross members joined by mixed connectors.
Yes. Green Frame profiles can be ordered as 4000 mm bars or cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Give us the dimensions of the pieces or send us a sketch of the structure and we will prepare the cutting list.
Yes. The standard series is GF-N (Ø 28 mm pipe); GF-S (Ø 19 mm) is lighter and more compact, GF-G (Ø 43 mm) is for stiffer structures. There are mixed connectors that join pipes from different series, for example a Ø 19 or Ø 43 pipe to a Ø 28 pipe, so you use the right diameter at every point of the structure.
No. The connectors are fixed to the pipe with hex socket screws: a hex key is all you need. Loosen the screw, insert the pipe, bring it into position and tighten. No welding, drilling or painting.
Yes, it is the strength of the pipe system: loosen the connectors, move or replace the pipes and retighten. You can raise a shelf, extend a workbench or reuse the components in another structure when the process changes, with continuous improvement in mind.
Yes. We can design the structure (workstation, flow rack, trolley, line-side supermarket) with the load calculation and deliver it to you assembled or as a kit with the parts already cut and the list of components.
No. Profiles and connectors are in anodised aluminium: the surface resists corrosion and wear without painting and is easy to clean.
Yes. The range includes conductive components such as ESD inner end caps, ESD clips for electrical continuity between pipe and connector, and ESD inserts for levelling feet and castors. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will tell you the components to use.
