GF-G Hard profile: thick-walled Ø 43 mm pipe for joints under impact
The thick-walled GF-G Ø 43 mm pipe: about twice the bending resistance of the standard GF-G, designed for joints that take continuous impacts. A GF-N Ø 28 pipe slides inside it: with two pipes from the system you build sturdy telescopic uprights. It weighs 1.57 kg/m.
Why choose it
Withstands impacts
For joints that take continuous knocks: trolleys, end stops, pushed structures.
Double the resistance
About twice the bending resistance of GF-G, with the same diameter.
Telescopic uprights
The GF-N Ø 28 pipe slides inside: adjustable uprights with standard components.
Instead of GF-G
You use it only at the most stressed points; the rest of the structure stays in GF-G.
Choose it if…
- The joint takes continuous impacts.
- You need more strength while staying with the 43 diameter.
- You want telescopic uprights with a GF-N pipe inside.
Choose another solution if…
- The standard Ø 43 pipe is enough: GF-G profile →
- You need stiffness on the cross members, not on the joints: GF-G W profile →
- The structure is in Ø 28: GF-N Hard profile →

Application example
The GF-G Hard is used at the points of the structure that work hardest:
- Joints subject to impact on trolleys and handling structures
- Telescopic uprights with inner GF-N pipe
- Legs of heavy structures
How you use it
Where the Hard makes the difference:
In joints under impact
Use it as the pipe the connector clamps onto where the structure takes continuous knocks.
Telescopic
Slide a GF-N Ø 28 pipe inside the GF-G Hard and adjust the height.
Closed end
The end is closed with the dedicated inner end cap GFA-426.
We will advise you on how to lock the telescopic pipe according to the load.
The LeanProducts service
From drawing to finished structure, with a single point of contact:
Design and load calculation
We start from your sketch or dimensions: we choose profiles and connectors and check spans, joints and loads.
Cut to length
We cut the profiles in our workshop to the lengths in the design, ready to assemble.
Kit or assembled structure
You receive the kit with the cut parts and the list of components, or the structure already assembled.
Spare parts and modifications
When the process changes we supply components and new cuts to modify or extend the structure.
Send us a sketch, a photo or the overall dimensions: we will reply with codes, quantities and cut lengths.

When a joint of the Ø 43 structure takes continuous impacts, or when you need more strength while staying with the 43 diameter: it has about twice the bending resistance of the standard GF-G.
Yes: a GF-N Ø 28 pipe slides inside the GF-G Hard. We will advise you on how to lock it in position according to the load.
Same diameter, thicker wall: it weighs 1.57 kg/m instead of 0.74 and the moment of inertia rises from 5.07 to 9.18 × 10⁴ mm⁴.
The Hard is a single pipe, for joints under impact and uprights. The GF-G W is a twin pipe for loaded cross members: upright it has 52.42 × 10⁴ mm⁴. Choose the Hard for joints and the W for spans.
The inner end cap dedicated to GF-G Hard, GFA-426: the standard GF-G end cap is not suitable for this profile.
GF-G series connectors: we will confirm the models suited to the Hard when we prepare the component list.
The GF-G profile is the basic Ø 43 pipe. The one with C10 slot adds a slot for T-nuts and the connection to SF square profiles. The Hard has a thick wall, about twice the bending resistance, for joints that take impacts. The GF-G W joins two Ø 43 pipes and is the cross member for high loads; the P150 is a 193 mm high twin beam for large spans, work enclosures and gantries.
The GF-N Ø 28 is the standard for workstations, flow racks and trolleys. The GF-S Ø 19 weighs about half as much (0.20 kg/m versus 0.37) and is for light frames, dividers, guards and small mechanisms. The GF-G Ø 43 is for uprights and cross members that have to carry a lot: over a 1000 mm span it supports 851 N at the centre versus 195 N for the GF-N, for the same deflection. It is often worth mixing them, for example GF-G uprights and GF-N cross members joined by mixed connectors.
Yes. Green Frame profiles can be ordered as 4000 mm bars or cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Give us the dimensions of the pieces or send us a sketch of the structure and we will prepare the cutting list.
Yes. The standard series is GF-N (Ø 28 mm pipe); GF-S (Ø 19 mm) is lighter and more compact, GF-G (Ø 43 mm) is for stiffer structures. There are mixed connectors that join pipes from different series, for example a Ø 19 or Ø 43 pipe to a Ø 28 pipe, so you use the right diameter at every point of the structure.
No. The connectors are fixed to the pipe with hex socket screws: a hex key is all you need. Loosen the screw, insert the pipe, bring it into position and tighten. No welding, drilling or painting.
Yes, it is the strength of the pipe system: loosen the connectors, move or replace the pipes and retighten. You can raise a shelf, extend a workbench or reuse the components in another structure when the process changes, with continuous improvement in mind.
Yes. We can design the structure (workstation, flow rack, trolley, line-side supermarket) with the load calculation and deliver it to you assembled or as a kit with the parts already cut and the list of components.
No. Profiles and connectors are in anodised aluminium: the surface resists corrosion and wear without painting and is easy to clean.
Yes. The range includes conductive components such as ESD inner end caps, ESD clips for electrical continuity between pipe and connector, and ESD inserts for levelling feet and castors. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will tell you the components to use.
