Modular small-parts drawer unit: transparent drawers for screws and small parts on the bench
600 mm wide grey ABS frame and high-strength transparent plastic drawers: you see straight away what is there and how much is left. Six versions, from 2 to 9 drawers, differing in number, depth and height of drawers. The modules join and stack: you build the drawer unit you need on the bench, at the workstation or in the toolroom.
Why choose it
Contents in view
Transparent plastic drawers: you see the part and the quantity without opening, and you know when to reorder.
Modular units
All modules are 600 mm wide: you join and stack them to have large and small drawers in the same column.
Fast picking
The drawers tilt open towards you: you take the part with one hand and the drawer stays in place.
Sturdy
Grey ABS frame and drawers with high mechanical strength, for everyday use in the workshop.
Choose it if…
- You keep screws, washers, small parts and small components on the assembly or maintenance bench.
- You want to see the contents without opening the drawers.
- You need drawers of different sizes in the same column.
- You want to organise a workstation according to 5S, with a place for every part.
Choose another solution if…
- You pick from shelving or on the line and need an open-fronted container, even for large parts: Wolf mouth container →
- You want open containers that nest inside each other when empty: Wolf mouth container Air →
- You need to bring components from the warehouse to the line in closed VDA standard containers: RL-KLT small-load container →

Where the small-parts drawer unit is used
Where small parts need to be within reach, always in the same place:
- Assembly benches: screws, inserts and small components in front of the operator, sorted by code
- Maintenance and toolroom: small spare parts in order, visible without opening
- Kitting and preparation: one drawer per code, to build kits without errors
- Laboratories and quality control: samples and small parts kept separate and recognisable
One drawer per code and a label on the front: it is the simplest way to apply 5S to small parts.
Complete the workstation
How to build the drawer unit
Choose the modules according to how many codes you have and how big they are:
Few codes, large parts
2- or 3-drawer modules: taller, more spacious drawers.
Many codes, small parts
6- or 9-drawer modules: lots of small drawers in the same footprint.
Mixed columns
Stack different modules, all 600 mm wide: large drawers at the bottom, small ones at the top.
The LeanProducts service
A single point of contact, from analysis to reordering:
Flow and layout analysis
We look at components, consumption, workstations and routes with you and tell you which drawer units and containers you need, in what sizes and in what quantities.
Configuration
We choose sizes, colours, lids and accessories together, and match them to the dollies, trolleys and shelving you already use.
Delivery
We confirm codes, pack sizes and availability in the quote, and deliver where you need them.
Reorders and expansions
When the line grows or changes, you reorder the same codes or add the missing sizes: the system stays uniform.
LeanProducts designs and supplies lean solutions for intralogistics: containers, dollies, tugger trains and FIFO lanes.

Specifications
| Number of Drawers | 2 |
Six: with 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 9 drawers. All modules are 600 mm wide; the number, depth and height of the drawers differ. The dimensions of each version are in the data table.
Yes. The modules sit side by side and stack to form a modular structure: for example, a 2-drawer module at the bottom for the larger parts and 6- or 9-drawer modules on top for small parts.
The frame is grey ABS, the drawers are transparent plastic with high mechanical strength. The contents stay visible and the drawers tilt open, so you pick with one hand.
By version code: LP-CPB2, CPB3, CPB4 and CPB5 are sold singly, CPB6 and CPB9 in packs of 2 modules. Tell us how many small-part codes you need to store and we will propose the combination of modules.
Yes. We start from the components, the consumption and the space on shelving and benches: we propose sizes, colours and quantities for each location, so you equip the area uniformly and order in full packs.
On assembly benches, in maintenance and the toolroom, in kitting areas and in laboratories: wherever small parts need to be within reach and in the same place.
The drawer unit is compact and closed: ideal for many small-part codes on the bench. Open-fronted bins are open at the front and also suit large parts, on shelving and at the line side. They are often used together at the same workstation.
Yes: one drawer per code, contents in view and a fixed location for every part are the basis of “set in order” and “standardise”. Add a label to the front of each drawer and anyone finds the part first time.
Count the codes to keep at the workstation and look at the size of the parts: a few bulky codes call for 2- or 3-drawer modules, lots of small parts for 6- or 9-drawer modules. If you like, we do it with you starting from the workstation's bill of materials.
