Lean principles / Autonomous logistics

Autonomous logistics: robots run the shuttles, people do the value-adding work

Repetitive shuttle runs between warehouse, supermarket and lines are the first waste to automate: known route, standard load, no decisions. PUDU AMRs navigate without tape or reflectors and fit into the lean flow you already have: same carts, same stops.

When a robot makes sense

An operator pushing a cart back and forth for half a shift is the typical case: the work is repetitive, the route is always the same and the cost recurs every day. The robot does the run, the operator stays at the workstation.

A robot pays off when the flow is already lean: standard carts, fixed stops, clear aisles. That's why we offer it together with the carts, Park Stations and floor marking that make it reliable.

How to spot it on the shop floor

Signal 1

Operators walking more than they work at the workstation.

Signal 2

Late replenishment on shifts with fewer staff.

Signal 3

Shuttles between departments done by forklift for loads of a few tens of kg.

02

Floor-to-floor pallets

The autonomous pallet truck picks up the pallet at the dock and takes it to the warehouse or line side.

The problem

Forklift drivers tied up with short, repetitive pallet moves.

The solution

AI-powered autonomous pallet truck and a tugger train compatible with AGV tractors for longer routes.

03

Flow first, then the robot

Standard carts, stops and lanes: the robot always finds the load in the same place.

The problem

Different carts in every department, unmarked stopping points, blocked aisles.

The solution

Tugger train carts, dollies in convoy, FIFO lanes and heavy-duty floor tape to mark out routes.
