How we calculate
Real speed, not catalog speed
The train runs at 65% of its top speed: 8 km/h with 3 LiftLiners, 6 km/h with 4. At each stop we count 30 seconds to stop and set off again and 45 seconds to uncouple or couple each cart.
One round carries more carts
A forklift carries one or two loads per trip, the train 2 carts per LiftLiner, unloaded from both sides. We choose how many LiftLiners to put in the train for the highest net saving over 3 years; to the time saved we apply 75% to 85%.
Train costs
LiftLiner, rear light and transport rack, at your price list prices, for purchase. Electric tractor, carts, maintenance and energy are not included: we go through them together in the quote.
