Coverage figures are maximum values: actual coverage depends on floor, dirt and routes, and we check it with you during the analysis.
Good to know before you choose
Actual coverage in m²/h
- Coverage figures are maximum values: furniture, obstacles and dirt reduce them.
- Think in terms of the m² to be cleaned within the time window you have.
- We calculate the number of robots with you during the analysis.
Floors and dirt
- Dust, debris and packaging: sweeper robot (MT1 series).
- Stains, liquids and marks: scrubber-dryer robot (CC1, ET1, BG1).
- Carpet: CC1, CC1 Pro, ET1 or MT1 Vac. Not for heavy oil or standing water.
Water and docking station
- CC1: docking with water supply and drain, or 30 L mobile station.
- ET1: 8-in-1 station that washes the roller and heats the water.
- BG1: workstation with water supply and drain; BG1 Pro also with charging base only.
Lifts and multiple floors
- CC1 and CC1 Pro: optional lift kit; ET1: lift integration.
- MT1 and BG1 series: optional lift and automatic door (E-gate) modules.
- We check compatibility with your lift during the site survey.
People and safety
- LiDAR, cameras and sensors detect people and obstacles: the robot stops or goes around them.
- Emergency stop button; the CC1 runs below 70 dB.
- MT1 Max gives way to vehicles; the BG1 has light and sound warnings.
PUDU OS: app, reports and API
- PUDU Link app: all PUDU robots on one screen, schedules and notifications.
- A report for every cleaning run and over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
- Open Platform (Cloud API) and PUDU Skill to connect the robots to your systems.
Frequently asked questions
How many robots do I need to clean my floor area?
It depends on square metres, time windows, floors and type of cleaning. As a reference, with full coverage the CC1 cleans 700–1,000 m²/h, the MT1 up to 1,800 m²/h and the BG1 up to 2,000 m²/h. It often pays to combine a sweeper and a scrubber-dryer. We calculate the exact number with you during the analysis.
What is the difference between a scrubber-dryer robot and a sweeper robot?
The scrubber-dryer robot (CC1, CC1 Pro, ET1, BG1) scrubs with water and detergent and collects the dirty water: it removes stains, liquids and marks. The sweeper robot (MT1 series) works dry: it collects dust, debris and packaging over large areas, but does not scrub or pick up liquids.
Robot or operator-driven scrubber-dryer: which is better?
The robot performs repetitive cleaning autonomously, at the times you set, even at night, and records a report of every cleaning run. The SH1 upright scrubber-dryer, pushed by the operator, reaches edges, corners and under tables and is used for touch-ups during opening hours. They are often used together.
Does the robot replace cleaning staff?
No: it handles large repetitive areas such as corridors, halls and aisles, while staff focus on details, edges, glass and touch points. Someone is needed to manage water, emptying and routine maintenance: we provide the training.
Which floors do PUDU robots work on?
On hard indoor floors such as tiles, marble, terrazzo, resin and concrete. CC1, CC1 Pro and MT1 Vac also clean short-pile carpet; the ET1 vacuums it without changing module. Uncovered outdoor areas, stairs, heavy oil and standing water should be avoided. For car parks and covered semi-outdoor areas there is the MT1 Max.
Can they work with people, customers or patients present?
Yes. LiDAR, cameras and sensors detect people and obstacles: the robot stops or goes around them and has an emergency stop button. The ET1 is also designed to clean during opening hours. We set routes and schedules with you based on foot traffic.
Is Wi-Fi required?
Not necessarily: CC1, MT1, MT1 Max and the BG1 series connect via Wi-Fi or 4G. The connection is needed for the PUDU Link app, reports and updates. During the site survey we check coverage in the areas to be cleaned.
Can the robots take the lift and change floors?
Yes, with the dedicated options: lift kit for CC1 and CC1 Pro, lift integration for the ET1, lift and automatic door modules for the MT1 series and the BG1. We check compatibility with your installation during the site survey.
What maintenance do they require?
Routine maintenance is simple: empty the dirty water or the waste bin and clean brushes and squeegee when the robot or the app signals it. Brushes, blades and filters are replaced periodically depending on use. You can get original PUDU spare parts and consumables from us, with direct support throughout Italy.
Can I see a demo? Who installs the robots?
Yes. LeanProducts, official PUDU distributor in Italy, analyses areas and schedules with you and, on request, brings the robot for a trial at your site. We then install robots and stations, map the premises, train staff and handle support and spare parts.
