FIFO Monorail Individual - Set of 2 rails with brackets

It is a lane marked out on the floor with guide rails, in which dollies and trolleys line up. It is loaded from one side and picked from the other: the first trolley in is the first out (First In, First Out). Material does not age at the back of the row, the operator always knows which trolley to take and trolleys are not left scattered in the aisles.

It gives every trolley a fixed place and a picking order: less searching, fewer unnecessary movements and less forgotten material. The number of trolleys in the lane shows the stock level at a glance, like a visual kanban, and with signs and information boards each lane has its own code. It is a typical tool for line-side supermarkets, milk runs and 5S projects.

The FIFO Station is a self-adhesive yellow PVC profile: it adapts to almost any castor width and guides trolleys on one or both sides. The Monorails are aluminium rails that guide the castors on one side only: the 40 for castors up to 40 mm wide, the 55 up to 55 mm and for larger trolleys and heavier loads; with the connecting plates you build multi-lane stations without drilling the floor. The individual Monorail has separate guide sides, for custom widths. The Flatrail is a 75 × 5 mm flat adhesive guide, with length on request.

Monorail 40 and 55 are channel rails with a fixed width: they guide the castors on one side up to 40 or 55 mm. The Individual Monorail has two separate side walls: you lay them at the distance you need, for castors of any width, and guide the trolley on one or both sides.

Two guide rails of the chosen length (1200, 1800 or 2400 mm), the brackets for fixing them to the floor and the mounting hardware. The V-shaped entry end pieces are ordered separately.

Yes, at the lane entry: the V-oriented end pieces protect the end of the rail and lead the castors into the guide even with slight misalignment. They come in sets of 2 right and 2 left with bracket and mounting hardware: we quote them together with the rails.

With the floor brackets included in the set, screwed to the floor. It is a stable fixing, suited to lanes that stay in the same place for a long time.
