Clamping lever - for swivel joints and adjustable connections
The clamping lever replaces the screw where you need to release and reposition often: you turn it by hand, without tools, and lock the swivel joint or connection in the new position. It is the original Bosch Rexroth component for support and lockable swivel joints and for lockable slides on guides. Choose thread and length according to the element to lock: each swivel joint has its own lever.
Why choose it
No tools
Release, adjust and re-lock by hand, without tools.
One lever for each swivel joint
M8x30 for the 30x30 lockable, M8x40 for the 40x40, M8x45 for the 45x45 support and lockable, M5x10 for the zinc swivel joints.
10 lengths
M5, M6 and M8 threads with shank from 10 to 55 mm for different thicknesses.
Sturdy
Lever in black plastic-coated die-cast zinc; in the M8, parts in galvanized steel class 5.8.
Choose it if…
- You need to adjust a connection often without tools
- You mount support or lockable swivel joints
- You need a spare for a lost or damaged lever
Choose another solution if…
- You prefer a star knob: Star knob →
- You need the complete swivel joint: Joint for strut profiles →
- You want to tilt a support by ±90° with the lever already included: Swivel fastening 180° →

Where the lever is used
For each swivel joint use the lever of the length indicated in the table.
The LeanProducts service
From parts list to ready-to-assemble kit, with a single point of contact:
Cutting to length
We cut the profiles in our workshop to the lengths on your parts list: full bar or cut to length.
Check of codes and quantities
We start from your parts list or a sketch: we check connectors, swivel joints, panel profiles and accessories for each slot.
Ready-to-assemble kits
You receive cut profiles and accessories grouped by structure, with the component list.
Spare parts
When you modify or extend the structure we supply the same original components.
Send us the parts list or a photo of the structure: we reply with codes and quantities.

Swivel joint 30x30 lockable: M8x30. Swivel joints 40x40 support and 40x40 lockable: M8x40. Swivel joints 45x45 support and 45x45 lockable: M8x45. Zinc swivel joint 45x45 at 182° and swivel joints 60x45 and 60x60: M5x10. If you have a different swivel joint, send us the code and we will tell you the lever.
The length L is that of the threaded shank: it must pass through the element to lock and engage the thread of the nut or sliding block in the slot well. For swivel joints use the matching lever; for other adjustable connections send us the thickness to clamp.
They have the same 65 mm lever; the thread changes. The M8 is the one paired with support and lockable swivel joints and has parts in galvanized steel class 5.8; the M6 is for adjustable connections with M6 thread.
Both lock an adjustable connection by hand. On support and lockable swivel joints the lever is intended; the star knob is an alternative for other adjustable connections, if you prefer it for space or grip.
No: the swivel joint comes with the fastening material for the profiles, the clamping lever is ordered separately. The 180° swivel mount, on the other hand, already includes it.
The M5x10 is ESD conductive. For the M6 and M8 versions, if you work in an ESD protected area, ask us for confirmation before ordering.
It is the width of the profile slot and determines which accessories you use. Slot C6 (6 mm) is for 20 series profiles, C8 (8 mm) for the 30 series, C10 (10 mm) for profiles from the 40 series upwards. Nuts, screws, brackets and cover caps are chosen by slot: each accessory's product page shows the right one.
Yes. You can order the full bar or the piece cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Each profile's product page shows the maximum bar length and the minimum cut length.
Look at the moments of inertia Ix and Iy: the higher they are, the less the profile deflects under load. For the same section, “L” profiles are lightened and deflect a little more. For long spans or high loads move to a larger section or a tall profile (e.g. 45x90 instead of 45x45). If you send us drawing and loads, we will check the choice.
The T-nut is inserted from the front into the slot, even in an assembled structure, and positions itself when you tighten the screw: it is the standard choice for fixing accessories. The sliding block withstands higher forces, but normally has to be inserted from the profile end before closing the frame; spring versions stay where you put them.
The simplest way is the bracket, which joins two profiles at 90° with screws and nuts in the slot, without machining. For end, T, 45° or three-way connections there are dedicated connectors, some of which require profile machining as stated on their product page.
Yes, for several accessories (for example cover caps, hinges and nuts) there are conductive ESD versions, indicated in the name or variant. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will confirm the components to use.
On each product page you will find the MGE catalogue pages to download as PDF, with dimensioned drawings and technical data; the Specifications tab shows the data for the variant you have chosen.
Yes. Send us the parts list or a sketch with dimensions: we give you codes, quantities and cut lengths and prepare the kit with profiles already cut and the accessories.
