It is the typical connector for diagonal braces. 98 g.
Green Frame · Connectors GF-N Ø 28
Inner hinged connector 0-180° GF-N
The inner hinged joint has the same outside dimension as the pipe: choose the angle, tighten the bolt and the angle stays fixed. It is used above all for diagonal braces that stiffen benches and shelving and for inclined pipes. It holds 800 N against slipping but only 170 N against pull-out: an inclined surface must not hang from the hinged joints alone.
Why choose it
Any angle
You set it during assembly and lock it with the bolt.
Flush with the pipe
The joint stays as wide as the pipe, with nothing protruding.
Stiffer structures
With one diagonal brace per side, benches and shelving do not sway.

Application example
Used for braces and inclined pipes.
- Diagonal braces on the sides and back of benches
- Shelving cross bracing
- Inclined surfaces and guides

Fit a hinged joint at each end of the diagonal pipe, clamp one joint on the upright and one on the cross member, bring the brace into position and tighten the bolts to 11 N·m. We calculate the pipe length for you from the frame dimensions.
That one attaches the end of one pipe to the side of another, like a brace. This one joins the ends of two pipes: the pipes continue one after the other at the angle you choose.
If the brace is at exactly 45° the 45° connector is quicker: the angle is already right. The hinged joint is for when the angle is not 45° or you want to be able to change it.
Yes. Green Frame profiles can be ordered as 4000 mm bars or cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Give us the dimensions of the pieces or send us a sketch of the structure and we will prepare the cutting list.
Yes. The standard series is GF-N (Ø 28 mm pipe); GF-S (Ø 19 mm) is lighter and more compact, GF-G (Ø 43 mm) is for stiffer structures. There are mixed connectors that join pipes from different series, for example a Ø 19 or Ø 43 pipe to a Ø 28 pipe, so you use the right diameter at every point of the structure.
No. The connectors are fixed to the pipe with hex socket screws: a hex key is all you need. Loosen the screw, insert the pipe, bring it into position and tighten. No welding, drilling or painting.
Yes, it is the strength of the pipe system: loosen the connectors, move or replace the pipes and retighten. You can raise a shelf, extend a workbench or reuse the components in another structure when the process changes, with continuous improvement in mind.
Yes. We can design the structure (workstation, flow rack, trolley, line-side supermarket) with the load calculation and deliver it to you assembled or as a kit with the parts already cut and the list of components.
No. Profiles and connectors are in anodised aluminium: the surface resists corrosion and wear without painting and is easy to clean.
Yes. The range includes conductive components such as ESD inner end caps, ESD clips for electrical continuity between pipe and connector, and ESD inserts for levelling feet and castors. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will tell you the components to use.
