Blue cable Ø 2 mm, 20 m roll
It is the cable for Green Frame karakuri mechanisms: thin, light and strong. It passes over the pulleys, is anchored with the cable clamp connector and connects the moving part to the counterweight or the return spring.
Why choose it
Strong and light
25 kgf maximum pull with only 70 g for 20 m of cable.
Highly visible
The blue colour stands out on the aluminium structure.
For karakuri
Transmits the movement between load, stops, side panels and counterweights.

Application example
The cable connects the parts of a karakuri mechanism by passing over the pulleys.
- Counterweights: the descending load lifts a stop or a top
- Spring return: the spring pulls back the part moved by the cable
- Side panels and stops: open and close as the container passes
Data and compatibility
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Code | GFW-424 |
| Diameter | 2 mm |
| Length | 20 m |
| Material | UHMWPE polyethylene and polyester fibre |
| Maximum pull | 25 kgf (about 245 N) |
| Weight | 70 g (roll) |
Before use, keep the cable under a load of about 10 kg for one hour: the initial stretch is taken up and the adjustment remains stable.

A new cable stretches a little under the first loads. Hang about 10 kg on it for one hour before fitting it: after that the length stays stable and the mechanism does not lose its adjustment.
The maximum pull is 25 kgf, about 245 N. Also take jerks into account: the load on the cable must not exceed this value even when a box arrives suddenly.
Yes. Green Frame profiles can be ordered as 4000 mm bars or cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Give us the dimensions of the pieces or send us a sketch of the structure and we will prepare the cutting list.
Yes. The standard series is GF-N (Ø 28 mm pipe); GF-S (Ø 19 mm) is lighter and more compact, GF-G (Ø 43 mm) is for stiffer structures. There are mixed connectors that join pipes from different series, for example a Ø 19 or Ø 43 pipe to a Ø 28 pipe, so you use the right diameter at every point of the structure.
No. The connectors are fixed to the pipe with hex socket screws: a hex key is all you need. Loosen the screw, insert the pipe, bring it into position and tighten. No welding, drilling or painting.
Yes, it is the strength of the pipe system: loosen the connectors, move or replace the pipes and retighten. You can raise a shelf, extend a workbench or reuse the components in another structure when the process changes, with continuous improvement in mind.
Yes. We can design the structure (workstation, flow rack, trolley, line-side supermarket) with the load calculation and deliver it to you assembled or as a kit with the parts already cut and the list of components.
No. Profiles and connectors are in anodised aluminium: the surface resists corrosion and wear without painting and is easy to clean.
Yes. The range includes conductive components such as ESD inner end caps, ESD clips for electrical continuity between pipe and connector, and ESD inserts for levelling feet and castors. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will tell you the components to use.
