Plate-mounted castor
The plate-mounted castor for trolleys and mobile pipe structures: choose diameter (100 or 125 mm), type (fixed, swivel, swivel with brake) and tread (elastic rubber or polyamide). The plate screws under the profile with C10 slot of the base.
Why choose it
For trolleys
The sturdiest solution for structures that are moved often.
With or without brake
Swivel with brake on one axle, fixed or swivel on the other.
Elastic rubber
Quiet and gentle on floors; polyamide for lighter pushing on smooth surfaces.

Application example
The standard castor under pipe trolleys.
- Kit and milk run trolleys: base in slotted profile
- Mobile supermarkets: flow racks on castors
- Mobile benches: workstations to be moved

To size the trolley, count the load on three castors out of four (4 × 150 kg ≈ 450 kg); with steps or uneven floors count half.
Not sure which foot or castor to fit?
Tell us the load, the floor and the frame profile: we will recommend the right castors, feet and threaded inserts.

The plate screws under the GF-N profile with C10 slot of the trolley base: 4 M8 screws with hammer nuts inserted in the slot. On the Ø 100 the plate holes are at 80 × 60 mm.
Each castor carries 150 kg, but to be safe count the load on three castors: 4 castors ≈ 450 kg. With steps or an uneven floor count half. The real limit is also set by frame and connectors: we check it with you.
Usually two swivel castors with brake on the side you push from and two fixed or swivel on the other. For trolleys to be manoeuvred in tight spaces fit four swivel castors, at least two of them braked.
Yes. Green Frame profiles can be ordered as 4000 mm bars or cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Give us the dimensions of the pieces or send us a sketch of the structure and we will prepare the cutting list.
Yes. The standard series is GF-N (Ø 28 mm pipe); GF-S (Ø 19 mm) is lighter and more compact, GF-G (Ø 43 mm) is for stiffer structures. There are mixed connectors that join pipes from different series, for example a Ø 19 or Ø 43 pipe to a Ø 28 pipe, so you use the right diameter at every point of the structure.
No. The connectors are fixed to the pipe with hex socket screws: a hex key is all you need. Loosen the screw, insert the pipe, bring it into position and tighten. No welding, drilling or painting.
Yes, it is the strength of the pipe system: loosen the connectors, move or replace the pipes and retighten. You can raise a shelf, extend a workbench or reuse the components in another structure when the process changes, with continuous improvement in mind.
Yes. We can design the structure (workstation, flow rack, trolley, line-side supermarket) with the load calculation and deliver it to you assembled or as a kit with the parts already cut and the list of components.
No. Profiles and connectors are in anodised aluminium: the surface resists corrosion and wear without painting and is easy to clean.
Yes. The range includes conductive components such as ESD inner end caps, ESD clips for electrical continuity between pipe and connector, and ESD inserts for levelling feet and castors. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will tell you the components to use.
