Articulated Core Gripper for Film Reels Ø 76 mm

Reels with a 76 mm core, typically stretch film, from 400 to 1200 mm long and with an outside diameter from 200 to 600 mm. The articulated mandrel slides into the core and grips the reel.

Usable capacity with this tool: 45 kg on the WP 55 and 50 kg on the WP 65.

Yes, with the quick change for manual tools: the trolley part stays on the Work Positioner (WPR-A-0001-SS) and the tool part is fitted to this tool. You can then change it in a few seconds, on your own, without unscrewing it; without the quick change it is fixed to the carriage with screws.

With a work positioner and the right tool: the boom goes into the core of the reel, the gripper clamps it from the outside, and there is also an electric gripper that turns it through 90°. For drums there is the manual front tilting gripper, which lifts and tilts them with a handwheel.

From four things: part weight, how you pick it up (which tool you need), stroke and working environment. The capacity applies with the centre of gravity 400 mm from the mast, tool included; the work positioner buying guide, with its 4-question selector, shows you the suitable models and tools.
