https://leanproducts.eu/shop/bolt-connector-2918 https://leanproducts.eu/web/image/product.template/2918/image_1920?unique=1d9bc53Zinc-plated steel bolt connector for joining two profiles with slot C8 or C10 at right angles, even in closed frames: it withstands high loads and torsion, up to 5000 N. Requires a D11 or D17 through hole in the profile.

Bolt connector - right-angle connector for strut profiles
The bolt connector passes through a through hole in the first profile and engages in the slot of the second: the joint stays inside the profiles and withstands high forces and moments, including torsion. It can also be fitted in an already closed frame. The connector size matches the width of the profile it passes through. It is the original Bosch Rexroth component, conductive, with two cover caps included.
Why choose it
High loads
From 2500 N on profile 30 up to 5000 N and 1000 Nm on profile 100.
Withstands torsion
Suitable for high loads, including torsion, not just forces along the profile.
Concealed joint
The connector stays inside the profiles; the cover caps close the holes.
Even on a closed frame
Fits without dismantling the structure.
Choose it if…
- The joint must withstand high loads and torsional moments
- You need to connect profiles in an already closed frame
- You work with profiles from 30 to 100, including a 30 on slot C10
- You can drill a through hole in the profile
Choose another solution if…
- You don’t want to drill the profiles: T-connector →
- The joint must remain adjustable along the slot: Bracket →
- You need to join two profiles end to end, in line: Longitudinal end connector →
Not sure which profile to choose? Open the guide with the profile table →
Complete the connector
Connector and cover cap are chosen by hole diameter: D11 or D17.

The QV set holds 1000 N, but it is not designed for bending of the joint. If the crossbar is cantilevered or carries side loads, use a T-connector or a bolt connector.
The one matching the width of the profile the connector passes through: D11x30 for profiles 30, D17x45 for 45, D17x90 for 90 and so on. To connect a profile 30 to a profile with slot C10, use the D11x30 C8/C10 version.
A transverse through hole in the profile being crossed: D11 for the D11x30, D17 for the D17 versions. You can make it with the drilling jig.
The D11x30 holds 2500 N, the D17 from 40 to 60 mm 4000 N, the D17 from 80 to 100 mm 5000 N. The moments also increase with the section, up to 1000 Nm with the D17x100. These are static limit values: apply your own safety factors.
The T-connector needs no holes on profiles 40, 45 and 50 and reaches 9000 N on the 45x45. The bolt connector needs the through hole, but also withstands torsion, fits in a closed frame and covers profiles up to 100.
Yes, it creates a conductive connection between the profiles. The two grey cover caps included are not conductive: if the joint must be fully ESD, close the holes with the black ESD cover caps.
Yes, it also fits in closed frames: drill the through hole, insert the connector and tighten it to 6 Nm (D11) or 25 Nm (D17) without removing the adjacent profiles.
It is the width of the profile slot and determines which accessories you use. Slot C6 (6 mm) is for 20 series profiles, C8 (8 mm) for the 30 series, C10 (10 mm) for profiles from the 40 series upwards. Nuts, screws, brackets and cover caps are chosen by slot: each accessory's product page shows the right one.
Yes. You can order the full bar or the piece cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Each profile's product page shows the maximum bar length and the minimum cut length.
Look at the moments of inertia Ix and Iy: the higher they are, the less the profile deflects under load. For the same section, “L” profiles are lightened and deflect a little more. For long spans or high loads move to a larger section or a tall profile (e.g. 45x90 instead of 45x45). If you send us drawing and loads, we will check the choice.
The T-nut is inserted from the front into the slot, even in an assembled structure, and positions itself when you tighten the screw: it is the standard choice for fixing accessories. The sliding block withstands higher forces, but normally has to be inserted from the profile end before closing the frame; spring versions stay where you put them.
The simplest way is the bracket, which joins two profiles at 90° with screws and nuts in the slot, without machining. For end, T, 45° or three-way connections there are dedicated connectors, some of which require profile machining as stated on their product page.
Yes, for several accessories (for example cover caps, hinges and nuts) there are conductive ESD versions, indicated in the name or variant. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will confirm the components to use.
On each product page you will find the MGE catalogue pages to download as PDF, with dimensioned drawings and technical data; the Specifications tab shows the data for the variant you have chosen.
Yes. Send us the parts list or a sketch with dimensions: we give you codes, quantities and cut lengths and prepare the kit with profiles already cut and the accessories.
