Cubic connector, with screws and cover caps - corner connector for strut profiles
The cubic connector forms the corner of a visible frame, for example shelving, display cases, workbenches and light structures: the profiles cut to length are screwed onto the faces of the cube with self-tapping screws, the joint does not rotate and no drilling or tapping is needed. The set is complete: cube, screws and grey cover caps that close the openings. Choose it 2-way for a flat corner or 3-way for the corner of a cube.
Why choose it
Torsion-resistant corner
The cube keeps the profiles aligned and prevents them from rotating at the joint.
No machining
The self-tapping screws screw into the square-cut profile: no holes or threads.
Complete set
Cube, screws and closing cover caps under the same code, ready for assembly.
Conductive connection
The connector creates a conductive connection between the profiles; for ESD areas use the black ESD cover caps.
Choose it if…
- You build visible frames with profiles of the same section
- You want clean corners, with no protruding brackets
- You do not want to machine the profiles
- You need a complete set of screws and cover caps
Choose another solution if…
- You need to join profiles of different sections or with cantilever loads: Bracket →
- You need a three-profile corner closed by a spherical or cube cover cap: Corner bracket →
- You already have screws and cover caps and only need the connector: Cubic connector, without screws and cover caps →

Cover caps for cubic connector
Grey or black ESD, for every size.
If you order the components separately, choose cover caps and screws of the same section as the cube.
The LeanProducts service
From parts list to ready-to-assemble kit, with a single point of contact:
Cutting to length
We cut the profiles in our workshop to the lengths in your parts list.
Check of codes and quantities
We start from your parts list or a sketch: we check brackets, nuts and screws for every slot and every joint.
Ready-to-assemble kits
You receive cut profiles and accessories grouped by structure, with the component list.
Spare parts
When you modify or extend the structure we supply the same original components.
Send us the parts list or a photo of the structure: we reply with codes and quantities.

The 2-way joins two profiles in a flat corner, for example the corner of a rectangular frame. The 3-way joins three profiles along the three axes: it is the corner of a cube structure, such as shelving or a display case. The 3-way also takes a slightly higher moment.
Cut the profiles square to the right length, place the end of the profile on the face of the cube and screw in the self-tapping screw from the set, which enters the central bore of the profile. Tighten to the specified torque (10, 25 or 35 N·m depending on the screw) and close the cube opening with the cover cap.
The cube is the same. This code is the complete set ready to fit; the one without screws and cover caps is the connector only, useful as a spare or if you already have screws and cover caps in stock.
The connector creates a conductive connection between the profiles, but the grey cover caps in the set are not conductive. If all visible components must be ESD, replace them with the black ESD cover caps for cubic connector.
Because the limit also depends on the profile: with the lighter 45x45L the 2-way holds 150 N·m, with the solid 45x45 200 N·m. For the 3-way the values are 170 and 240 N·m.
Yes, the designLINE version with silver RAL 9006 finish exists for 20x20, 30x30, 40x40 and 45x45, but it is not among the variants on this product page: ask us for it.
It is the width of the profile slot and determines which accessories you use. Slot C6 (6 mm) is for 20 series profiles, C8 (8 mm) for the 30 series, C10 (10 mm) for profiles from the 40 series upwards. Nuts, screws, brackets and cover caps are chosen by slot: each accessory's product page shows the right one.
Yes. You can order the full bar or the piece cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Each profile's product page shows the maximum bar length and the minimum cut length.
Look at the moments of inertia Ix and Iy: the higher they are, the less the profile deflects under load. For the same section, “L” profiles are lightened and deflect a little more. For long spans or high loads move to a larger section or a tall profile (e.g. 45x90 instead of 45x45). If you send us drawing and loads, we will check the choice.
The T-nut is inserted from the front into the slot, even in an assembled structure, and positions itself when you tighten the screw: it is the standard choice for fixing accessories. The sliding block withstands higher forces, but normally has to be inserted from the profile end before closing the frame; spring versions stay where you put them.
The simplest way is the bracket, which joins two profiles at 90° with screws and nuts in the slot, without machining. For end, T, 45° or three-way connections there are dedicated connectors, some of which require profile machining as stated on their product page.
Yes, for several accessories (for example cover caps, hinges and nuts) there are conductive ESD versions, indicated in the name or variant. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will confirm the components to use.
On each product page you will find the MGE catalogue pages to download as PDF, with dimensioned drawings and technical data; the Specifications tab shows the data for the variant you have chosen.
Yes. Send us the parts list or a sketch with dimensions: we give you codes, quantities and cut lengths and prepare the kit with profiles already cut and the accessories.
