Cubic connector, without screws and cover caps - connectors for strut profiles
The cubic connector closes the corners of frames, enclosures and cube structures: the profiles butt against the cube and are fixed with self-tapping screws, without machining the profiles. The 2-way version joins two profiles at an angle, the 3-way version forms a corner with three profiles. It is the original Bosch Rexroth component: this is the body-only version; if you want everything ready, take the set with screws and cover caps.
Why choose it
Clean corners
A single piece for the frame corner, with no brackets on the sides.
Torsion-resistant
The corner does not rotate: the frame stays square.
No machining
The profiles are screwed to the cube with self-tapping screws, without tapping.
Conductive
The cube creates a conductive connection between the profiles, useful in ESD areas.
Choose it if…
- You need to close the corners of a frame with profiles of the same section
- You want a clean, torsion-resistant corner without brackets
- You already have the screws or want to choose the cover caps separately, for example black ESD
Choose another solution if…
- You want the connector complete with screws and cover caps: Cubic connector, with screws and cover caps →
- You need a 90° connection at mid-profile: T-connector →
- The joint must remain adjustable along the slot: Bracket →

Complete the connector
Cubic connector with screws and cover caps
The ready set: body, screws and grey cover caps.
Cover cap for cubic connector
Closes the cube openings, also in black ESD.
Cube, screws and cover caps are chosen for the same section as the profiles.
The LeanProducts service
From parts list to ready-to-assemble kit, with a single point of contact:
Cutting to length
We cut the profiles in our workshop to the lengths in your parts list.
Check of codes and quantities
We start from the parts list or a sketch: we check connectors, screws, nuts and cover caps for every slot and every joint.
Ready-to-assemble kits
You receive cut profiles and accessories grouped by structure, with the component list.
Spare parts
When you modify or extend the structure we supply the same original components.
Send us the parts list or a photo of the structure: we reply with codes and quantities.

One for each profile: two for the 2-way cubic connector, three for the 3-way one.
This is the cube body only. The set also contains one screw per profile and the grey cover caps that close the openings. Take the body if you already have the screws or need different cover caps, for example black ESD.
It depends on the section: D12 for 20/2 and 20/3 connectors, D18 for 30/2 and 30/3, D24 for 40 and 45 connectors, D30 for 50 connectors.
With 2-way you join two profiles at a right angle, for example where the cross member meets the upright at the top. With 3-way you close the corner of a cube frame, where three profiles meet.
One screw per profile: S6x16 for the 20x20 section, S8x25 for the 30x30, S12x30 for 40x40, 45x45 and 50x50. Tighten them to 10, 25 and 35 Nm respectively.
The cube is the same. This code is the complete set ready to fit; the one without screws and cover caps is the connector only, useful as a spare or if you already have screws and cover caps in stock.
It depends on the connected profile: with the solid 45x45 the 3-way cube carries 240 Nm, with the lightweight 45x45L 170 Nm. For the 2-way the values are 200 and 150 Nm.
The cube creates a conductive connection between the profiles. The grey cover caps are not conductive: for a fully ESD corner use the black ESD cover caps.
The T-connector joins a profile to the side of another, even at mid-length. The cubic connector closes corners, where profiles end: two profiles at an angle or three at a corner.
No, the cubic connector joins profiles of the same section: choose the cube that matches your profiles.
It is the width of the profile slot and determines which accessories you use. Slot C6 (6 mm) is for 20 series profiles, C8 (8 mm) for the 30 series, C10 (10 mm) for profiles from the 40 series upwards. Nuts, screws, brackets and cover caps are chosen by slot: each accessory's product page shows the right one.
Yes. You can order the full bar or the piece cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Each profile's product page shows the maximum bar length and the minimum cut length.
Look at the moments of inertia Ix and Iy: the higher they are, the less the profile deflects under load. For the same section, “L” profiles are lightened and deflect a little more. For long spans or high loads move to a larger section or a tall profile (e.g. 45x90 instead of 45x45). If you send us drawing and loads, we will check the choice.
The T-nut is inserted from the front into the slot, even in an assembled structure, and positions itself when you tighten the screw: it is the standard choice for fixing accessories. The sliding block withstands higher forces, but normally has to be inserted from the profile end before closing the frame; spring versions stay where you put them.
The simplest way is the bracket, which joins two profiles at 90° with screws and nuts in the slot, without machining. For end, T, 45° or three-way connections there are dedicated connectors, some of which require profile machining as stated on their product page.
Yes, for several accessories (for example cover caps, hinges and nuts) there are conductive ESD versions, indicated in the name or variant. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will confirm the components to use.
On each product page you will find the MGE catalogue pages to download as PDF, with dimensioned drawings and technical data; the Specifications tab shows the data for the variant you have chosen.
Yes. Send us the parts list or a sketch with dimensions: we give you codes, quantities and cut lengths and prepare the kit with profiles already cut and the accessories.
