Sliding connector with friction GF-N
The sliding connector with friction slides along the pipe like a linear bushing, but with a grub screw you adjust the friction on the PA guide. This way a moving part stays where you leave it, without sliding by itself, and you move it by hand when needed.
Why choose it
Adjustable friction
Tighten or loosen the grub screw and decide how stiff the sliding is.
Stays where you leave it
Supports and arms do not slide by themselves: no locking collars to open and close.
Aluminium body
Extruded aluminium, PA guide, steel screw and grub screw.

Application example
With adjustable friction the moving part is moved by hand and stays in position.
- Screen and document supports: move along the workbench
- Tool-holder arms: stay where the operator leaves them
- Adjustable stops: repositioned without tools

With the grub screw on the connector body: tightening it increases the friction on the guide and the sliding becomes stiffer, loosening it makes it slide more freely. Adjust it with the load already fitted.
When the moving part must not slide by itself: a screen support, a document holder or an arm that the operator moves and that has to stay where it is left.
Yes. Green Frame profiles can be ordered as 4000 mm bars or cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Give us the dimensions of the pieces or send us a sketch of the structure and we will prepare the cutting list.
Yes. The standard series is GF-N (Ø 28 mm pipe); GF-S (Ø 19 mm) is lighter and more compact, GF-G (Ø 43 mm) is for stiffer structures. There are mixed connectors that join pipes from different series, for example a Ø 19 or Ø 43 pipe to a Ø 28 pipe, so you use the right diameter at every point of the structure.
No. The connectors are fixed to the pipe with hex socket screws: a hex key is all you need. Loosen the screw, insert the pipe, bring it into position and tighten. No welding, drilling or painting.
Yes, it is the strength of the pipe system: loosen the connectors, move or replace the pipes and retighten. You can raise a shelf, extend a workbench or reuse the components in another structure when the process changes, with continuous improvement in mind.
Yes. We can design the structure (workstation, flow rack, trolley, line-side supermarket) with the load calculation and deliver it to you assembled or as a kit with the parts already cut and the list of components.
No. Profiles and connectors are in anodised aluminium: the surface resists corrosion and wear without painting and is easy to clean.
Yes. The range includes conductive components such as ESD inner end caps, ESD clips for electrical continuity between pipe and connector, and ESD inserts for levelling feet and castors. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will tell you the components to use.
