Where it works
The PuduBot 2 is PUDU’s “universal” delivery robot: it works indoors and in semi-outdoor areas, wherever frequent, repetitive deliveries are needed:
- Restaurants: runner between kitchen and dining room, collecting dirty dishes, birthdays; suited to large dining rooms, buffets and canteens
- Industry and intralogistics: light, frequent deliveries between warehouse, production lines and quality control
- Healthcare and care homes: meals and everyday items between wards on the same floor; with the optional protective box the shelves stay closed
- Sports and entertainment: food and drinks in bars, refreshment areas and event halls
- Schools and campuses: deliveries of food and drinks between kitchen, canteen and bar
- Retail and offices: internal deliveries of materials, mail and small supplies
It works between 0 and 40 °C on flat floors: it handles thresholds up to 10 mm and slopes up to 5°, but must not stop on a slope. In healthcare we propose it for non-critical items, not for drugs or clinical samples.

PUDU OS: the software that keeps the PuduBot 2 working
PUDU OS is the operating system of PUDU robots: it handles maps, navigation, tasks, updates and data. In practice:
Maps and navigation
Marker-free PUDU VSLAM+ navigation over areas up to 40,000 m² and with ceilings up to 30 m; the PuduBot 2 can also use the BellaBot laser maps. PUDU OS is open to third-party development and customisation.
OTA updates
The robot software updates over the network: new PUDU features arrive without any hardware work.
PUDU Link, Pager and Watch
With the PUDU Link app you see status, tasks and battery of all your PUDU robots on a single screen and call them remotely. PUDU Pager buttons (LoRa network, they work even without internet) and the PUDU Watch 4G send the robot where it is needed with one touch.
Open Platform and PUDU Skill
With the Cloud API of the PUDU Open Platform, POS, management systems, MES or hospital systems can send delivery tasks and receive the status in real time: there are no ready-made connectors for specific software, the integration is developed on the APIs. PUDU Skill, the PUDU package for AI coding tools, helps your developers write it faster.
A single PUDU ecosystem for cleaning, delivery and logistics: same app, same reports. As the distributor, we activate API access and support your IT team or integrator.
Data, security and compliance
A robot in your company must be safe for your data too. This is how it is protected:
Information security
PUDU is certified ISO/IEC 27001 for information security and ISO/IEC 27701 for privacy (certification body DNV): encrypted data, controlled access and a dedicated security department.
Privacy and GDPR
It comes with a GDPR compliance declaration signed by the manufacturer. It does not record images of the surroundings and does not recognise faces: cameras and sensors are used only to find its way and avoid obstacles. Only operating data goes to the cloud: routes, activities, status and faults.
Data kept on site with PUDU Cloud Veil
If data must not leave the company, with PUDU Cloud Veil it runs locally or on your private cloud, without passing through PUDU servers. We define the configuration for your model in the quote.
CE marking and standards
The robot comes with CE marking and an EU declaration of conformity.
Settings and working modes are password-protected: unauthorised staff cannot change them.

It is mainly used in:
Restaurants and Hospitality: delivering dishes to tables and returning dirty dishes.
Retail and Supermarkets: roaming promotions and product distribution.
Healthcare and Laboratories: hygienic transport of medicines, test tubes and biological samples.
Offices and Industry: distribution of mail, documents and small parts between departments.
Yes, for light, frequent deliveries: it is suited to trips between warehouse, production lines and quality control, with large 520 × 435 mm trays and 10 kg per tray (up to 13 kg). For heavy loads, carts or roller conveyors you need PUDU logistics robots, such as the T300 for up to 300 kg.
It depends on what you carry and where. The BellaBot Pro is the waiter robot for the dining room: 4 trays of 10 kg, a stable chassis for soups and drinks and an 18.5" advertising screen; it fits through 65 cm. The KettyBot Pro is the most compact (55 cm): it welcomes customers, guides them to the table or shelf and advertises on its 18.5" screen, with 2 trays plus a compartment for dirty dishes. The PuduBot 2 has large 520 × 435 mm trays and dual LiDAR: it suits large dining rooms, canteens and production departments, but needs 80 cm passages and has no advertising screen. The FlashBot Max is the only one with closed compartments (PIN, phone number, NFC) and that uses elevators and turnstiles: it is the robot for hotels, offices and care homes on several floors, not for the dining room. During the site survey we tell you which one you need.
No, it works alongside them. The robot makes the repetitive trips between kitchen and tables, carries heavy dishes and takes the dirty ones back; staff stay in the dining room to welcome guests, take orders and give advice. The robot does not put the dish on the table: the guest takes it from the tray, or the waiter does. It works indoors, on level floors: during the site survey we check with you the space between tables, thresholds and routes.
The PuduBot 2 needs 80 cm, both to pass and to turn. It climbs thresholds up to 10 mm and slopes up to 5°, but must not stop on a slope. It works indoors and in semi-outdoor areas, between 0 and 40 °C. During the site survey we measure corridors and passages between tables with you.
With dual 360° LiDAR, main and secondary, RGBD depth sensors, the upward-facing sensor and the collision sensor: it detects people and obstacles all around, stops and recalculates the route. The upper LiDAR avoids obstacles within 0.8 m even when fully loaded and at 1.2 m/s; the lower one monitors the floor and detects obstacles just 8 cm high.
It is equipped with a 25.6 Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, known for its high chemical safety and long service life.
Operating runtime: 12h (fully loaded) 15h (unloaded)
A full battery charge takes 4 h.
From the touchscreen, from the PUDU Link app, with the PUDU Watch 4G, with PuduBeeper or with the PUDU Pager buttons. The Pager uses a LoRa network and also works without internet, provided the robot is connected to the gateway. The robot handles up to 48 simultaneous tasks; those not carried out expire after 5 minutes. Our Pager kit includes 10 buttons, 1 gateway and 2 LoRa modules.
It supports Bluetooth gates and, among the PUDU IoT accessories, there is the elevator control module: we check compatibility with your elevator during the site survey. If deliveries are mostly on several floors and closed compartments are needed, the right PUDU robot is the FlashBot Max.
Not as standard: it has a 7" or 10.1" control touchscreen. There is also a version with a large screen, whose availability in Italy we check. If advertising in the dining room matters, look at the BellaBot Pro or the KettyBot Pro, with an 18.5" screen.
Yes. With the PUDU Link app you manage all your PUDU robots from the same screen, and up to 20 PuduBot 2 units can work together in the same environment. The PuduBot 2 also uses BellaBot laser maps, while compatibility with “fusion” maps is partial: if you already have PUDU robots, we check this at installation.
The PuduBot 2 connects via Wi‑Fi and 4G and has the LoRa radio for PUDU Pagers. The network is needed for the PUDU Link app and updates; the Pagers also work without internet. During the site survey we check coverage along the routes.
No: BellaBot Pro, KettyBot Pro and PuduBot 2 handle transport. Orders stay with your staff or with the system you already use (handheld devices, QR codes at the table, kiosks). You send the robot to the table from its screen, from the app or with PUDU call systems. Connecting it to the POS is possible, with development on the PUDU Open Platform APIs.
There are no ready-made connectors for a specific POS or PMS. The connection is made with the PUDU Open Platform (Cloud API): your system sends delivery tasks, reads the robots’ status and receives real-time updates via webhooks; usage statistics are also available. Typical use cases: POS and ERP in food service, PMS in hotels, hospital systems and building management. For developers there is the PUDU Skill, a package for AI programming tools that knows the up-to-date PUDU APIs. We activate API access as distributor and support your IT team or integrator.
LeanProducts, official PUDU distributor in Italy. We start with the site survey: passages, floors and thresholds, Wi‑Fi or 4G coverage, any doors and elevators; on request we organise a demo at your premises. At installation we create the map, set up tables or delivery points, calls and content, then train your staff. After start-up you have direct support throughout Italy, by phone and with remote access, and original PUDU spare parts.
Yes. The manufacturer has signed a GDPR compliance declaration for T300, T600, PuduBot 2, KettyBot Pro and BellaBot Pro. The robot does not record images of the surroundings and does not recognise faces. The depth sensors are used to plan the route: the data is continuously overwritten and is neither saved nor sent to the cloud. The ceiling-facing VSLAM camera is used only for localisation: the images are converted on the robot into geometric points and then deleted. Only operating data (routes, completed tasks, status and faults) goes to the PUDU cloud, no personal data. We provide the declaration with the quote.
Yes. With PUDU Cloud Veil the data runs locally or on your private cloud and does not pass through PUDU servers: no data leakage at source and full control over the information, as required in environments with high confidentiality requirements. To connect the robot to your systems there is the PUDU Cloud Open API. We define the configuration and functions available for your model in the quote.
PUDU is certified ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for information security and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 for privacy, verified by the certification body DNV. Data is encrypted and stored encrypted, access is limited to authorised personnel and a dedicated department oversees information security. Vulnerabilities are reported through an official channel. On the robot, settings and working modes are password-protected and the software is updated remotely.
Yes, every robot comes with CE marking and an EU declaration of conformity, which we hand over with the robot together with the standards applied.
