Pudu MT1 Max: autonomous sweeping robot for car parks and covered semi-outdoor areas
The autonomous sweeper of the MT1 series for the toughest environments: underground car parks, semi-open lobbies, large areas with high ceilings and poor light. It cleans up to 2,200 m²/h, works for up to 10 hours, navigates with 3D LiDAR, has IP54 protection and gives way to vehicles. LeanProducts, official PUDU distributor in Italy, handles analysis, installation, mapping and training.

Why choose it
3D perception
3D LiDAR, VSLAM and dual-chip architecture: map and navigation stay stable with high ceilings, at night, with dust or strong interference.
Safe among vehicles
It recognises cars, pedestrians and animals: it stops at intersections, gives way in the lanes and pauses in parking areas.
IP54 and rain sensor
Protected against dust and splashes, it works from −10 to +45 °C. The drop sensor puts it into protection mode if rain arrives.
The most productive in the series
2,200 m²/h in full coverage, 7,000 m²/h in spot cleaning, 6.5–10 hours of battery life and a self-cleaning vibrating filter.
Choose it if…
- You need to sweep underground or covered car parks, semi-open lobbies and porticoes.
- The area is large, with high ceilings, poor light or dust, and standard robots struggle to find their way.
- The robot has to share space with cars, forklifts and pedestrians.
- You need more battery life and productivity than the MT1 offers.
Choose another solution if…
- You only work indoors on hard floors and a lower, lighter model is enough: Pudu MT1 Sweeping Cleaning Robot →
- You have carpet or fine dust to filter with HEPA: Pudu MT1 VAC Sweeping and Vacuuming Cleaning Robot →
- You need to scrub and dry large areas, including spilled liquids: Pudu BG1 PRO AI-Native Large Scrubber-Dryer Robot →
- You need to scrub medium-sized indoor areas, including carpet: CC1 Multifunctional Cleaning Robot →
Not sure which one to choose? Use the selection guide →
Where it works
The MT1 Max is designed for large indoor and covered semi-outdoor areas, including those with vehicle traffic:
- Underground and covered car parks: lanes and parking bays, with the robot stopping at intersections and giving way to cars
- Semi-open lobbies and porticoes: entrances of shopping centres, stations and buildings, sheltered from rain
- Transport hubs and large indoor spaces: areas with high ceilings and poor light, where 3D perception keeps navigation stable
- Warehouses and logistics centres: large areas with moving forklifts and vehicles
It is not a road sweeper: it must not be used in rain, snow or extreme weather, in direct sunlight, on unhardened floors, with large amounts of oil or standing water. That is why we speak of covered semi-outdoor areas, not genuine outdoor use.

The Pudu MT1 Max sweeping robot
Technology for difficult environments
3D LiDAR and dual chip
Fusion of 3D LiDAR, VSLAM and markers with a dual processor: the robot maps and finds its way even where high ceilings, darkness, dust or fog defeat standard sensors.
Signalling and safety
1.2 m tall beacon, light projected on the floor and acoustic and visual alarms: cars and pedestrians see the robot even in the dark.
AI adaptive cleaning
Power adapts to the dirt: lower on light debris, so as not to scatter it, higher on heavy debris. The robot positions itself to channel the debris between the two side brushes.
The filter cleans itself with an internal vibration system: fewer manual interventions in dusty environments such as car parks.
How it is managed
You set up the job once, then the MT1 Max carries on by itself:
Scheduled cleaning
Choose areas, times and days of the week: the robot starts on its own and, with the charging station, returns to base when the battery is low and resumes work.
PUDU Link app
You control the robot remotely, see the job status and receive alerts, such as a full bin.
Cleaning reports
Each cleaning run generates a report with areas and times: evidence ready for inspections and data to organise the work better.
Elevators and automatic doors
With the optional elevator control and E-gate modules it changes floors and passes through gates on its own, with nobody accompanying it.
With 6.5–10 hours of battery life (about 8 in standard mode) and the charging station, the MT1 Max covers several shifts without intervention.
PUDU OS: the software that keeps the MT1 Max working
The robot runs on PUDU OS, PUDU’s Android-based operating system. For you this means:
Maps and navigation
Map and routes are created at installation and changed when the layout changes. LiDAR SLAM + VSLAM navigation recalculates the route around obstacles.
OTA updates
The software updates over the network: new features and waste recognition that improves with PUDU database updates, without taking the robot out of service for days.
The whole fleet in one app
With PUDU Link you see all your PUDU robots on a single screen (status, work, battery) and change tasks, routes and schedules remotely.
Open Platform and PUDU Skill
The Cloud APIs of the PUDU Open Platform bring status, alerts and cleaning data into ERP, WMS or facility systems. With PUDU Skill, the PUDU package for AI coding tools, the developer writes the integration faster.
A single PUDU ecosystem for cleaning, delivery and logistics: same app, same reports. API access goes through the distributor: we activate it, check with PUDU the functions available for your model and support your IT team or integrator.
Data, security and compliance
A robot in your company must be safe for your data too. This is how it is protected:
Information security
PUDU is certified ISO/IEC 27001 for information security and ISO/IEC 27701 for privacy (certification body DNV): encrypted data, controlled access and a dedicated security department.
Privacy and GDPR
It comes with a GDPR compliance declaration signed by the manufacturer. It does not record images of the surroundings and does not recognise faces: cameras and sensors are used only to find its way and avoid obstacles. Only operating data goes to the cloud: routes, activities, status and faults.
Data kept on site with PUDU Cloud Veil
If data must not leave the company, with PUDU Cloud Veil it runs locally or on your private cloud, without passing through PUDU servers. We define the configuration for your model in the quote.
CE marking and standards
The robot comes with CE marking and an EU declaration of conformity.
Settings and working modes are password-protected: unauthorised staff cannot change them.

Designed for the most demanding performance and the most complex environments. It is the fastest in the series, with a coverage of 2200 m²/h and a runtime of up to 10 hours. It stands out for its advanced 3D LiDAR navigation and a higher protection rating (IP54), which makes it more resistant to dust and water splashes than the standard models (IPX3).
They are three sweeping robots with the same base (84 × 60 cm) and AI waste recognition. The MT1 dry-sweeps large indoor areas with hard floors: up to 1,800 m²/h, 35-litre bin, 4–8 hours of runtime. The MT1 Vac adds vacuuming and a dust mop, has a HEPA H11 filter and also works on carpet: up to 1,400 m²/h and a 20-litre collection capacity. The MT1 Max is the most powerful: 3D LiDAR, IP54 protection rating, up to 2,200 m²/h and 6.5–10 hours of runtime, also designed for car parks and covered semi-outdoor areas.
It depends on the dirt and the surface. The MT1 series dry-sweeps: it is the right choice for dust, debris and packaging over large areas, from 1,400 to 2,200 m²/h. The CC1 is a 4-in-1 floor scrubber-dryer robot for medium-sized indoor areas: it scrubs, sweeps, vacuums carpet and removes dust, at 700–1000 m²/h. The BG1 is the autonomous scrubber-dryer for large areas: it sweeps and scrubs in a single pass and recognises spilled liquids. It often pays to combine them: an MT1 for daily sweeping, a CC1 or a BG1 for scrubbing.
No. All three models work dry only: they sweep and, in the case of the MT1 Vac, vacuum and run the dust mop. They have no water tanks and do not pick up liquids; they should not be used on very oily floors or with standing water. To scrub and dry floors you need PUDU scrubber-dryers, such as CC1 or BG1.
It works on hardened floors: polished concrete, epoxy resin, rubber, regular paving blocks, ceramic tiles. It climbs thresholds up to 20 mm, bumps up to 50 mm and gaps up to 30 mm, climbs inclines up to 8° but cleans only on slopes of up to 3°. Passages of at least 75 cm are needed, better 85 cm in long corridors. Large amounts of oil and standing water should be avoided: in a car park we check ramps, joints and speed bumps with you.
In full coverage the MT1 cleans up to 1,800 m²/h, the MT1 Vac up to 1,400 m²/h and the MT1 Max up to 2,200 m²/h. In spot cleaning, when the AI sends the robot only where there is dirt, MT1 Vac, MT1 and MT1 Max reach 1,800, 6,000 and 7,000 m²/h. MT1 and MT1 Max serve areas in the order of 100,000 m². The number of robots depends on area, type of dirt, obstacles and time windows: we calculate it with you during the analysis phase.
Yes, with the charging station, sold separately: when the battery is low the robot returns to base, charges and resumes work. Without the station it is charged with the cable. Charging takes about 3 hours for the MT1 and less than 3.5 hours for MT1 Vac and MT1 Max. The MT1 station requires a flat wall, 2 m clear in front and 1.5 m on each side.
Integrated waste bin capacity: 35 litres.
Operating runtime: 5 to 10 hours (approx. 8 hours in standard mode).
Charging time: Less than 3.5 hours.
Battery capacity: 60 Ah
Yes: the automatic emptying station is the new PUDU accessory for the MT1 series. The robot empties its bin into the station and goes back to work without staff having to intervene. In the quote we confirm compatibility with your model and the best position along the routes.
The filter has an automatic vibration cleaning system that reduces manual work; it should still be cleaned every day and replaced every 3–6 months. Side brushes and roller brush are cleaned every day and changed every 6–12 months, like the rubber blades. The 35-litre bin is emptied at the end of the run or when it is full.
MT1 and MT1 Max connect via Wi-Fi or 4G; Bluetooth and LoRa or 2.4G modules are optional, useful for example for elevator modules. The connection is needed for the app, reports and updates: during the site survey we check coverage in the areas to be cleaned. The noise level is below 75 dB(A).
Yes. With the PUDU Link app you see the status of all your PUDU robots on a single screen (online or offline, working, battery) and change tasks and schedules, even remotely. Each robot works in the areas and at the times you assign to it. Robot-to-robot calling is also available for collaborative cleaning between the MT1 and CC1 series: an MT1 robot can call a CC1 or a CC1 Pro. If you are interested, we check models and software versions with you.
Yes, through the PUDU Open Platform. The Cloud APIs allow an external system (ERP, WMS, facility management software) to read the status, activities and data of the cleaning robots, receive alerts via callbacks and, where available, send commands. With PUDU Skill, PUDU’s package for AI programming tools, developers write the integration faster. API access goes through the distributor: we activate it and check with PUDU which functions are available for your model.
We start by analysing areas, floors, dirt and schedules; on request we hold a demo at your premises. At installation we create the map, set up areas, routes and cleaning programmes and, if needed, connect elevators and doors. Then we train your staff: start-up, emptying, daily maintenance and use of the app. For support and spare parts you stay in direct contact with our technicians.
LeanProducts provides direct support throughout Italy through its own technicians. Types of support offered:
- phone support and remote access for questions or analysis;
- on-site repair or, preferably, shipment to our premises;
- specific training so you can work independently.
Yes, the manufacturer has signed a GDPR compliance declaration for CC1, CC1 Pro and the MT1 series. The robot does not record images of the surroundings and does not recognise faces. Where there is AI recognition of dirt and obstacles, each image stays in working memory, is analysed and deleted immediately, without being saved; recognition also works without internet. If needed, the RGB camera can be disabled and there is a blackout sticker: in that case the robot still cleans, but without recognising the type of dirt. Only operating data such as areas cleaned, tasks, status and faults goes to the PUDU cloud. We provide the declaration with the quote.
Yes. With PUDU Cloud Veil the data runs locally or on your private cloud and does not pass through PUDU servers: no data leakage at source and full control over the information, as required in environments with high confidentiality requirements. To connect the robot to your systems there is the PUDU Cloud Open API. We define the configuration and functions available for your model in the quote.
PUDU is certified ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for information security and ISO/IEC 27701:2019 for privacy, verified by the certification body DNV. Data is encrypted and stored encrypted, access is limited to authorised personnel and a dedicated department oversees information security. Vulnerabilities are reported through an official channel. On the robot, settings and working modes are password-protected and the software is updated remotely.
Yes, every robot comes with CE marking and an EU declaration of conformity. The CC1 Pro is certified to IEC 63327, the safety standard for automatic floor-cleaning machines for commercial use. For the other models we provide the declaration and the standards applied with the quote.
