Quick connector 0° - connectors for profiles with slot C8 and C10
The quick connector is the 90° connection to choose when you want a sturdy joint with no visible parts. The head of the tie rod enters the slot of the cross profile, the clamping bush sits in a hole near the end of the other profile: tighten the bush and the two profiles lock together. During assembly the tool reaches the bush easily. It is the original Bosch Rexroth component, with conductive connection for ESD areas.
Why choose it
Joint with no visible parts
The connector works inside the profile: only the bush remains outside, which you close with the cover cap.
High load capacity
In slot C10 with bush D17 it reaches 4000 N and 140 Nm; in the mixed C8/C10 version 2000 N and 70 Nm.
Overhead too
The O-ring holds the connector in position while you tighten it, even overhead.
Zinc-plated or stainless
Zinc-plated steel for normal use, stainless steel where you need a rust-proof component.
Choose it if…
- You want a sturdy 90° joint with no visible parts
- You can drill a hole near the end of the profile
- You join profiles with slot C8, C10 or mixed C8/C10
- You need a stainless steel version
Choose another solution if…
- You need the head rotated 90° relative to the bush: Quick connector 90° →
- You want to be able to rotate the connected profile: Quick connector with round head →
- You need to join two profiles at an angle other than 90°: Bendable quick connector →

Accessories for the connector
For profiles with slot C6 there is the quick connector slot 6.

Look at the slots of the two profiles: 8/8 if both have slot C8, 10/10 if both have slot C10, 8/10 if you join a C8 profile to a C10 one. In 10/10 the D17 bush carries more (4000 N), the D9.8 gives a cleaner joint. Then choose zinc-plated or stainless steel.
In the 90° the tie rod head is rotated 90° relative to the bush: choose according to how the bush hole is oriented relative to the slot of the cross profile. Load capacities and torques are the same; the 0° also has the mixed 8/10 version.
Choose the round head if the connected profile needs to rotate. If load capacity matters, use the standard connector: in 10/10 it holds 4000 N versus 2500 N, in 8/10 2000 N versus 500 N, in slot C6 450 N versus 250 N.
A blind or through hole for the bush, near the end of the profile: D11 in the 8/8 and 8/10 versions, D17 or D9.8 in the 10/10. The hole axis is 18 mm from the end on profiles with slot C8 and 22.5 mm on those with slot C10. With the drilling jig you can make it in the right position, even in the workshop.
It is a small bush: its hole does not touch the slot flanks, so the joint is cleaner and the slot can be closed completely with a cover profile. It holds less than the D17 (800 N versus 4000 N), has no standard drilling in the modulus 40, 50 and 60 profiles and is only available in zinc-plated steel.
When in slot C10 you need more load capacity (4000 N with bush D17) or a joint with no visible parts. However, the quick connector requires a hole in the profile for the bush; the tensioning connector does not.
Yes: the O-ring holds the connector in position while you tighten it. The connector can also be turned into the slot of the cross profile at the fixing point, so you don't have to slide it in from the end.
In the 90° connector the head of the tie rod is rotated 90° relative to the clamping bush. Choose one or the other according to how the bush hole is oriented relative to the slot of the cross profile. Load capacities and torques are the same; only the 0° has the mixed 8/10 version.
When the joint must withstand torsion: the device increases the torsional resistance of the profiles joined with the quick connector and can also be added later, once the connection is assembled. Available for slot C8 and C10.
Yes, but the hole position and load capacities change: with the radial compensation the bush axis goes 15 mm from the end in slot C8 and 19.5 mm in slot C10. Send us the joint and we'll confirm the values.
It is the width of the profile slot and determines which accessories you use. Slot C6 (6 mm) is for 20 series profiles, C8 (8 mm) for the 30 series, C10 (10 mm) for profiles from the 40 series upwards. Nuts, screws, brackets and cover caps are chosen by slot: each accessory's product page shows the right one.
Yes. You can order the full bar or the piece cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Each profile's product page shows the maximum bar length and the minimum cut length.
Look at the moments of inertia Ix and Iy: the higher they are, the less the profile deflects under load. For the same section, “L” profiles are lightened and deflect a little more. For long spans or high loads move to a larger section or a tall profile (e.g. 45x90 instead of 45x45). If you send us drawing and loads, we will check the choice.
The T-nut is inserted from the front into the slot, even in an assembled structure, and positions itself when you tighten the screw: it is the standard choice for fixing accessories. The sliding block withstands higher forces, but normally has to be inserted from the profile end before closing the frame; spring versions stay where you put them.
The simplest way is the bracket, which joins two profiles at 90° with screws and nuts in the slot, without machining. For end, T, 45° or three-way connections there are dedicated connectors, some of which require profile machining as stated on their product page.
Yes, for several accessories (for example cover caps, hinges and nuts) there are conductive ESD versions, indicated in the name or variant. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will confirm the components to use.
On each product page you will find the MGE catalogue pages to download as PDF, with dimensioned drawings and technical data; the Specifications tab shows the data for the variant you have chosen.
