Rotating/sliding connector GF-N
The rotating/sliding connector slides onto the GF-N pipe and, thanks to the internal bushing, turns and slides. With the dedicated locking collar it becomes an adjustable stop: the arm or level rests on the collar at the position you choose. For higher loads there is the reinforced version.
Why choose it
On-pipe hinge
Side panels, doors and fold-down frames rotate directly on the upright, without separate hinges.
Adjustable levels
It slides along the upright: with the locking collar underneath, the arm stays at the height you want.
Two strengths
Standard at 31 g for light loads, reinforced at 62 g when more holding power is needed.

Application example
The rotating/sliding connector is the hinge of the pipe system: it rotates and slides on the upright.
- Side panels and doors: frames that open by rotating on the upright
- Adjustable arms: brackets that slide in height and rest on the locking collar
- Tilting frames: levels that rotate on the cross member and stop at the desired angle
Data and compatibility

| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Versions | GFJ-A04 standard (31 g); GFJ-A88 reinforced (62 g) |
| Series | GF-N (Ø 28 mm pipe) |
| Material | Extruded aluminium, PA bushing |
| Permitted moment | 18 N·m (standard); 25 N·m (reinforced) |
| Dedicated stop | Locking collar for rotating/sliding connector, also with knob |
The locking collar holds the connector against slipping: choose the standard or reinforced one according to the load resting on it.

With the locking collar for the rotating/sliding connector: a collar that you tighten on the pipe just below the connector. The standard one holds up to 350 N against slipping, the reinforced one up to 750 N; with the knob version you move it by hand, without a key.
On the outside the connector has the size of a GF-G Ø 43 pipe: you grip it with a GF-G outer connector as if it were a 43 mm pipe. This leaves the pipe carrying the side panel or arm free to rotate and slide on the upright.
The reinforced one withstands a higher moment, 25 N·m versus 18 N·m: choose it for longer arms or heavier loads. Send us dimensions and weights and we will check with you.
Yes. Green Frame profiles can be ordered as 4000 mm bars or cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Give us the dimensions of the pieces or send us a sketch of the structure and we will prepare the cutting list.
Yes. The standard series is GF-N (Ø 28 mm pipe); GF-S (Ø 19 mm) is lighter and more compact, GF-G (Ø 43 mm) is for stiffer structures. There are mixed connectors that join pipes from different series, for example a Ø 19 or Ø 43 pipe to a Ø 28 pipe, so you use the right diameter at every point of the structure.
No. The connectors are fixed to the pipe with hex socket screws: a hex key is all you need. Loosen the screw, insert the pipe, bring it into position and tighten. No welding, drilling or painting.
Yes, it is the strength of the pipe system: loosen the connectors, move or replace the pipes and retighten. You can raise a shelf, extend a workbench or reuse the components in another structure when the process changes, with continuous improvement in mind.
Yes. We can design the structure (workstation, flow rack, trolley, line-side supermarket) with the load calculation and deliver it to you assembled or as a kit with the parts already cut and the list of components.
No. Profiles and connectors are in anodised aluminium: the surface resists corrosion and wear without painting and is easy to clean.
Yes. The range includes conductive components such as ESD inner end caps, ESD clips for electrical continuity between pipe and connector, and ESD inserts for levelling feet and castors. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will tell you the components to use.
