Spindle for levelling foot - levelling feet M8, M12, M16
The modular levelling foot consists of two parts: the spindle, which screws into the threaded central hole of the profile, and the base plate, which rests on the floor. Spindles and plates can be freely combined, so you choose thread, adjustment travel and plate according to the load and the floor. The foot compensates for uneven floors up to 10°. It is the original Bosch Rexroth component, in zinc-plated or stainless steel.
Why choose it
Modular system
Choose spindle and base plate separately and combine them as you need.
Height adjustment
Adjustment travel from 20 to 135 mm depending on the spindle length.
High loads
10000 N with M8, 20000 N with M12, 30000 N with M16.
Zinc-plated or stainless
Zinc-plated steel for normal use, stainless for damp environments and ESD areas.
Choose it if…
- You need an levelling foot tailored to load and height
- You want to freely combine spindle and base plate
- The profile has an M8, M12 or M16 threaded central hole
- You work in damp environments or in an ESD area (stainless)
Choose another solution if…
- The profile has no central hole suitable for the spindle: Plate for levelling foot →
- A ready-made Ø 30 levelling foot is enough for you: Levelling foot D30 H72 C10 →
- You need to anchor the posts of a fence to the floor: Base plate for posts →

Build the levelling foot
The permissible load of the foot is that of the weakest component.
The LeanProducts service
From parts list to ready-to-assemble kit, with a single point of contact:
Cutting to length
We cut the profiles in our workshop to the lengths in your parts list.
Check of codes and quantities
We start from your parts list or a sketch: we check components, accessories and quantities for every point of the structure.
Ready-to-assemble kits
You receive cut profiles and accessories grouped by structure, with the component list.
Spare parts
When you modify or extend the structure we supply the same original components.
Send us the parts list or a photo of the structure: we reply with codes and quantities.

No, it is a fixed support. If the floor is not level use the levelling foot D30 or a modular foot with spindle and base plate.
The thread must match the threaded central hole of the profile and the load: M8 holds 10000 N, M12 20000 N, M16 30000 N. If the central hole of the profile is not suitable, use the plate for levelling foot, which carries the M12 or M16 thread.
Choose the length according to how much you need to adjust: with 75 or 85 mm you get 20–30 mm of adjustment, with 145 mm 80 mm, with 200 mm 135 mm. Long spindles are for very uneven floors or when you want to adjust the working height.
The load capacities are the same. Stainless steel performs better in damp environments or with frequent washing and is the version for ESD areas; zinc-plated is fine in dry environments.
Spindles and plates can be freely combined. Choose the plate according to the load and the floor: in PA up to 9000 N, in die-cast zinc or stainless steel up to 30000 N, with diameters from 29 to 79 mm. The load of the foot is the lower value of spindle and plate.
Add the PUR damping plate of the same diameter as the base plate: it damps vibrations and electrically insulates the foot. In an ESD area, connect the structure with the grounding set to discharge charges in a controlled way.
Yes, the spindle screws into an M8, M12 or M16 thread in the central hole of the profile. With the plate for levelling foot, the thread for the spindle is in the plate, which is fixed with screws in the holes of the profile.
It is the width of the profile slot and determines which accessories you use. Slot C6 (6 mm) is for 20 series profiles, C8 (8 mm) for the 30 series, C10 (10 mm) for profiles from the 40 series upwards. Nuts, screws, brackets and cover caps are chosen by slot: each accessory's product page shows the right one.
Yes. You can order the full bar or the piece cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Each profile's product page shows the maximum bar length and the minimum cut length.
Look at the moments of inertia Ix and Iy: the higher they are, the less the profile deflects under load. For the same section, “L” profiles are lightened and deflect a little more. For long spans or high loads move to a larger section or a tall profile (e.g. 45x90 instead of 45x45). If you send us drawing and loads, we will check the choice.
The T-nut is inserted from the front into the slot, even in an assembled structure, and positions itself when you tighten the screw: it is the standard choice for fixing accessories. The sliding block withstands higher forces, but normally has to be inserted from the profile end before closing the frame; spring versions stay where you put them.
The simplest way is the bracket, which joins two profiles at 90° with screws and nuts in the slot, without machining. For end, T, 45° or three-way connections there are dedicated connectors, some of which require profile machining as stated on their product page.
Yes, for several accessories (for example cover caps, hinges and nuts) there are conductive ESD versions, indicated in the name or variant. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will confirm the components to use.
On each product page you will find the MGE catalogue pages to download as PDF, with dimensioned drawings and technical data; the Specifications tab shows the data for the variant you have chosen.
