End connector - connectors for profiles 30, 40, 45 and 50
The end connector joins profiles on their end faces, end to end. It is fixed to the end of the profile with the screw in the central hole and closes the connection with screws and nuts: on 40x40, 45x45 and 50x50 profiles no machining is needed, on the 30x30 an M8 thread is needed in the central hole. It is the original Bosch Rexroth component, conductive for ESD areas, also in designLINE silver finish.
Why choose it
End-to-end connection
Joins two profiles end to end with a single component, supplied as a set with the screws.
Minimal machining
No machining on 40x40, 45x45 and 50x50 profiles; on the 30x30 only the M8 thread in the central hole.
High moment
Mmax 81 Nm on the 30x30, 170 Nm on the 40x40, 200 Nm on the 45x45, 180 Nm on the 50x50.
designLINE finish
Silver RAL 9006 coating for exposed structures, in the 30x30, 40x40 and 45x45 sections.
Choose it if…
- You need to join two profiles on their end faces
- You use profiles 30x30, 40x40, 45x45 or 50x50
- You want to limit machining (none from 40x40 upwards)
- You need an exposed designLINE finish
Choose another solution if…
- You prefer a steel end-to-end connection with a D17 hole: Longitudinal end connector →
- You want to join the profiles with elements inserted in the slots: Connection kit →
- You need to connect a profile at right angles to the side of another: T-connector →

Cutting to length
We cut the profiles in our workshop to the lengths in your parts list.
Check of codes and quantities
We start from the parts list or a sketch: we check connectors, fittings, nuts and cover caps for every joint and every slot.
Ready-to-assemble kits
You receive cut profiles and accessories grouped by structure, with the component list.
Spare parts
When you modify or extend the structure we supply the same original components.
Send us the parts list or a photo of the structure: we reply with codes and quantities.

The one for the profile section: 30x30 for 30 series profiles with slot C8, 40x40, 45x45 or 50x50 for profiles with slot C10. Then choose the finish: standard, or designLINE silver for 30x30, 40x40 and 45x45.
Only on the 30x30: an M8 thread is needed in the central hole for the screw in the set. On 40x40, 45x45 and 50x50 profiles the S12 screw is self-tapping and no machining is needed.
S12: 35 Nm · M8: 25 Nm · M6: 10 Nm · M5: 5 Nm. Observe the torques: insufficient tightening leaves play in the connection.
It is the same connector with a special silver RAL 9006 coating, for exposed structures where appearance matters. It is available for the 30x30, 40x40 and 45x45 sections; the 50x50 is only available in the standard version.
Both make an end-to-end connection. The longitudinal end connector is made of steel, requires a D17 hole in the profiles and is available for 40x… and 45x… profiles (up to 100x… in the one-sided version); the end connector on profiles from 40x40 upwards mounts without machining.
Yes, the end connector creates a conductive connection between the profiles, both in the standard and in the designLINE version.
It is the width of the profile slot and determines which accessories you use. Slot C6 (6 mm) is for 20 series profiles, C8 (8 mm) for the 30 series, C10 (10 mm) for profiles from the 40 series upwards. Nuts, screws, brackets and cover caps are chosen by slot: each accessory's product page shows the right one.
Yes. You can order the full bar or the piece cut to the length you need: we do the cutting ourselves, in our workshop. Each profile's product page shows the maximum bar length and the minimum cut length.
Look at the moments of inertia Ix and Iy: the higher they are, the less the profile deflects under load. For the same section, “L” profiles are lightened and deflect a little more. For long spans or high loads move to a larger section or a tall profile (e.g. 45x90 instead of 45x45). If you send us drawing and loads, we will check the choice.
The T-nut is inserted from the front into the slot, even in an assembled structure, and positions itself when you tighten the screw: it is the standard choice for fixing accessories. The sliding block withstands higher forces, but normally has to be inserted from the profile end before closing the frame; spring versions stay where you put them.
The simplest way is the bracket, which joins two profiles at 90° with screws and nuts in the slot, without machining. For end, T, 45° or three-way connections there are dedicated connectors, some of which require profile machining as stated on their product page.
Yes, for several accessories (for example cover caps, hinges and nuts) there are conductive ESD versions, indicated in the name or variant. Tell us which EPA area you work in and we will confirm the components to use.
On each product page you will find the MGE catalogue pages to download as PDF, with dimensioned drawings and technical data; the Specifications tab shows the data for the variant you have chosen.
Yes. Send us the parts list or a sketch with dimensions: we give you codes, quantities and cut lengths and prepare the kit with profiles already cut and the accessories.
