It offers three stroke options (1220, 1600 and 2050 mm), a lifting speed of 120 mm/s and is operated via the WPR-R1 ergonomic handle with integrated remote control. The standard configuration includes 24V – 9Ah AGM batteries with an external 230V charger and delivers 80 to 150 cycles per charge, making it suitable for assembly workstations, internal logistics and industrial ergonomics applications.
Work Positioner
Edmolift WP 125 Electric Work Positioner 125 kg
The WP 125 lifts reels, containers and parts up to 125 kg in production, logistics, automotive and aerospace. Compact and easy to manoeuvre, it has an overload limiter, safety clutch and soft start. It is the smallest model that takes the electric grippers. The Edmolift WP 125 is a battery electric work positioner, used as a reel lifter and drum lifter.
Why choose it
Safe
Overload limiter, safety clutch and soft start.
Electric tools
Electric grippers for reels and drums, with remote controls that clamp, tilt or rotate.
Many tools
Platforms, forks, booms, grippers and crane arms for reels, containers and parts.
Steel or stainless steel
Painted steel IP44 or 304L stainless steel IP65 for food and pharmaceutical use.
Choose it if…
- the load reaches 125 kg (110 kg with L mast)
- you want to use electric grippers with clamping, tilting or rotation
- you need 500 or 650 mm legs and a central brake
- you work in production, automotive, aerospace or logistics

Where it is used
For small and medium loads, with manual or electric tools:
- Production and assembly: parts and components at the bench
- Automotive and aerospace: loads to position in machines
- Logistics: containers to and from the shelves
- Reels: booms and grippers for 76 mm cores

125 kg with the S or M mast and 110 kg with the L mast, with the load’s centre of gravity 400 mm from the mast; the stroke is 1220, 1600 or 2050 mm. If the load reaches 205 kg or you work several shifts, there is the WP 205; if 85 kg and manual tools are enough, the WP 85.
The 2 standard AGM batteries (24 V – 9 Ah) charge to 100% in 7.5 hours with the external charger; the trolley must not be used while charging. Electric tools need 2 additional AGM batteries (WPR-O-0003); on request there are lithium batteries (WPR-O-0004), which charge faster, or a removable battery pack with charging station (WPR-O-0039).
Yes. Manual tools are changed in a few seconds with the quick change (WPR-A-0001-SS or WPR-A-0003-SS), without unscrewing them. For electric grippers the trolley must be ordered with the 1 or 2 additional electric functions option (WPR-O-0007 or WPR-O-0008), 650 mm legs, 2 additional AGM batteries and the remote control with the gripper functions: clamping, rotation or tilting.
There are two bases: standard legs 500 or 650 mm long and 530 mm wide, or central legs 500 mm long with a narrow 146 mm base, which let you get closer to benches and shelves. Electric grippers need the 650 mm legs.
It is pushed by hand using the ErgoControl handle: at the front it has double Ø 75 mm swivel wheels, at the rear Ø 125 mm wheels with a central brake, to be applied while lifting and loading. With a load it must be moved slowly and in the low position, on a level floor: the maximum slope is 5% fully loaded and 15% unloaded.
Among the documents you can download from this page: the user manual in Italian and English and the technical drawing. The wiring diagram is on page 24 of the manual, right after the spare parts list.
A work positioner: the battery-powered electric lifter that lifts, carries and positions the part at the push of a button, with the right tool for the load: platform, forks, boom, gripper or crane arm. Capacities range from 55 to 285 kg.
With a work positioner and the right tool: the boom goes into the core of the reel, the gripper clamps it from the outside, and there is also an electric gripper that turns it through 90°. For drums there is the manual front tilting gripper, which lifts and tilts them with a handwheel.
From four things: part weight, how you pick it up (which tool you need), stroke and working environment. The capacity applies with the centre of gravity 400 mm from the mast, tool included; the work positioner buying guide, with its 4-question selector, shows you the suitable models and tools.
Yes, in the stainless steel version: work positioner and tools in 304L stainless steel with IP 65 protection, from WP 55 to WP 285, for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Stainless units take tools in the SS version; the WP ONE comes in IP 44 steel only.
Overload protection stops lifting if the load is too heavy and the anti-crush system stops lowering if it meets an obstacle; there is also a reinforced toothed belt, shielded moving parts, soft start and stop and an emergency stop on the control unit. It must not be used to lift people.
Every 6 months the belt, fixing screws and batteries are checked; once a year the mechanical and electrical parts, by authorised staff. Charge the battery at least once or twice a week, even with occasional use, and every 6 months if the work positioner is not used.
